Thanks Merv, knew their must be an easier way than doing all those screws upside down. Will let you know how it goes when glass arrives

    Thanks Martin,
Like a lot of jobs in this trade I keep looking for an easier way. Often need a second pair of hands to hold it altogether while screwing it up 👿

    Re: Miele

No reset. Front off machine . Remove motor cover then brush module, fit brushes. reassemble and off you go.

Don’t think you will need to do any reset

    Hi Martin,
Thanks but I think this will let you access outer and middle glass, the one I need to replace is the inner one which requires removing the inner frame. This is the tricky part to fit back while fighting door springing closed 😯

Re: Miele W806 pressure system location?

Sounds like you should be ok. On this model sometimes after the blocked chamber has been cleaned it can cause the machine to under fill causing heater failure. 22ohms is about right for heater.

    Re: miele motor

part no 3555993 and 4674086 are 8 pole motors and will exchange.
Part no 6636230 not coming up as good part number. Have looked at several MRT37 606/2 they come up as 8 pole also.
What is model and serial no of machine you want motor for?
Some models changed from 8 to 16 pole at set serial numbers.

Got round it so far by cutting them out of scrap machines and saving, then soldering them and heat shrinking to machine loom.

    Re: Miele W1514 door gasket

Sorry to say that you need the worktop off washing machine, remove detergent drawer, unclip facia panel, remove two trox screws at top of front panel, remove two trox screws holding door interlock, remove wire band from around door seal, unclip font of door seal, THEN the front panel will lift off so you can get at door seal fixing.
