    😳
None of em. Bl**dy door switch worked fine when metering with the front panel off, but the pecker had worn a groove between the plastic inner and metal outer door. The switch worked momentarily and then flicked off again. Pecker bent down, problem solved. Thanks for input though, know this machine pretty well now!!!

    Thanks all,
Was indeed a dump truck full of sh**e in the restricted hose. 😀
When she was shown that the crushed/bent hose was the problem i got the usual ‘well it’s been ok for the last ten years’.
Customers eh!! You gotta love ’em.

    Cheers Gents,
This drier is in the tightest space possible and the vent hose runs under the units where it can’t be accessed. It ran ok once I’d got it out with the hose disconnected, but once back in it was opening all the time. I’ll go back and check the hose tomorrow.

    Re: Prestige PR60BISOE grill element

    Thanks Dave,

I’m going back with her rebonded door today (argued with me that the inner glass had always been that loose 😯 ) so I’m going to take the element out to match it. Neither of those are the same type, it’s a hinged type element which I think 5031689052245 on connect will do.

Masterpart say if it’s not listed we don’t do it. Connect didn’t answer the email so when I rang the guy didn’t seem that interested, spent a while looking and then asked what sort of appliance was it for :con: .

Odd translations seem to be par for the course with much of the job lot integrated stuff I’ve seen recently. 😥

When I went back the defrost heater is on constantly. Thermistor/ stat fault? I’m assuming they are foamed in though.

    Re: INDESIT WE10UK

Have a pair of ‘modified’ long 90deg angle nosed pliers from a carboot. The jaws are about 2 inch long on the gripping edge so I thinned them on the grinder and bent them together at the end. Because of the length of the handles it pulls the two rings on the band togethereasily, till the hooks clip together. I still curse though…….because it’s an Indesit! 😉
