Re: RUNNING A DOMESTIC APPLIANCE BUSINESS FROM HOME

Just come across this thread which i postaed in November and thought i would update you on the outcome.

12 months Conditional Discharge with £150 costs.
Plus £230 paid for representation by a solicitor.
I must add the council claimed £600 costs but this was reduced to £150 by the magistrates.

    Re: Brushes query

I’ve found its useful to keep some Bosch Pattern brushes CONNECT DISTRIBUTION CBN2222 ( £2.83 plus VAT A PAIR) on the van as the will fit Several holders if you make some minor allterations to the holder.

They come with a spring and a small male terminal attached so you wont need to do any soldering.

    Re: You’re taking the P

Obviously doesn’t like his job,but why should he take it out on the customers?

I regularly have deliveries by DHL and often try to pick up the parcel wherever i can catch the delivery driver.

The drivers seem to be more accomadating where i live,it must be to there advantage, if i collect the parcel on there round it saves them time.

As you obviously know the driver and he has been delivering to you for some time i don’t quite understand his behavior, but i think that there has been some kind of takeover or amalgamation within DHL and maybe he has some qualms about this.
