Thanks alot much appreciated, will this replace the original which is mounted in the alloy back plate, the one that you have quoted seems to be for the New wave Soft wave Classica Range?

    Re: Hotpoint WDD960P bearings gone

I think its due to the design of the shaft and seal, how come the 6205 and 6204 smaller bearings fitted to Hotpoint 95 series and WM range lasted a lot
longer although the bearings on newer machines with faster spin speeds are bound to wear sooner surely.

If you have a trade account with Connect Distribution you can view a PDF FILE of the Serice Manual (including DIAGNOSTICS)for machines using EWM1100 electronics by selecting SPARES FOR BY BRAND.

Select the Make then Model. IN THIS CASE ZWF14070W1
In Mediator there is a drop down list one of which is (Service manual GUIDE TO DIAGNOSTICS EWM1100 )

PAGE 24 Shows malfunction of Triac that controls the Pump an associated wiring.

Useful for anyone that does no have the TDS DISC

Is that the same as Scandinavian Appliances , this is a built in unit in a bespoke kitchen, I don’t think Comet supply the same quality, although the module has gone up in a puff off smoke.

I have recently been approached by GRAFTERS to do some work for them.
In the forums i have read some comments about this company, some good, some bad.

Any update on their performance please?

    Re: no heat again

Check that the Condenser Unit is not blocked with fluff, you should find it situated at front bottom left of machine,it just slots in so you should be able to pull it out.
Also when you have the unit out check that there is no fluff build up at the rear of where this unit slots in.

Re: Bosch Built in Microwave HTM8655GB/02

Thanks for the info Dave i have managed to find the part no. it is GT60N321 Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor Silicon N Channel IGBT

it is s/c between the collector and emitter and 12 ohms between gate and collector/emitter.
I can’t see any physical damage to the board or any other components so i think i will try replacing it, see if it solves the problem.

Anyone know where i can obtain a GT60N321 Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor Silicon N Channel IGBT from please.

    Re: Fault with Sis Washer

This fault is caused by a faulty motor armature, the raspy noise is the motor brushes arcing badly, this seems to upset the control module causing water valve to pulsate.

Re: New way to replace Bosch brushes.

Well there are people out there who would follow these instructions and regret it afterwards.

I would never do it that way, normally remove back plate and access the motor that way, with the machine still upright.

Anyway advice like that given is probably going to give us some more work putting the machine back together again.(Refiting the drum support springs, and what about any debris in the sump hose that falls back into the drum)?

Most of the Bosch machine’s that iv’e worked on don’t require any screws to be removed,(other than the mounting bolts) the brushes simply slot into the existing holders.
