Possibly a faulty thermostat (if it has one) but without a model number we will have nothing to work on I’m afraid 😉

Re: Customer Orders, How do you do it!

If it was sold and paid for over the phone it will come under the distance selling laws and the customer has the right to a full refund within 7 working days irrespective of whether it was a special order unless otherwise was pointed out at the time I’m afraid 🙁

The only saving grace on this occasion is that the customer collected it so no postage costs are invloved 😉

The burner’s not covered in grease by any chance causing the spark to “redirect” ?

These electronically controlled units are problematic to say the least 😉

The user manaul won’t help I doubt to be honest, if the settings are normal on the controls and it’s not cooling correctly there will almost certainly be a problem. You could try a total defrost for 48 hours to see if that improves things.

If that doesn’t work or the problem recurrs, try the repairs@ link below for an engineer 🙂

    Re: Concerns

Kev, Ken and I agreed to remove your edited post from the subs forum tonight for what may or may not seem obvious reasons…

One being, I for one do not want to see you remove yourself from this project (or any other venture) and I don’t doubt Ken and Sean do either it just needs discussing further. I can’t quite grasp why the whole situation has got to this stage to be honest, ATEOTD we’re all mates and we can easily resolve sh1t like this.

I’ll think more on this tommorow as I’m fooked ATM …. 😉

Assuming the 48k was at room temperature the NTC appears to be OK. It should be 58.1k at 20C and 47.1K at 25C.

Check the flow meter in the left hand air break chamber 🙂

There is no Indesit W100 😉

The relay is part of the PCB and you’ll probably need the serial number as well to get the right part number.

It’s a Smeg and the timer has “locked up” by the sound of it.

Rotate the timer manually (behind wooden panel) until it’s nearly at the end of the cycle and try and start it then.

All I can find is the Ilford details goose 😕

I did see on one result that Bellack is the European name for Belling though if it helps (model number ?)

Most Caple spares are now distributed by Connect Pinky. Neither of those models are listed in their mediator though so you may have to place an enquiry.

Yep, although I’d rather he didn’t make an arse of himself in the public forums to be honest.

Was my reply a little “harsh” ?

Re: Samsung American water dispenser broken

The part that has the hoops for the dispenser lever doesn’t come away from the door I’m afraid, the only permanent solution is to replace the whole door or continue trying to reinforce the originals..

A “moan” to Samsung may be worth a try 😉
