You can do it from inside but be really careful with the leads as they are very short 😉

And exactly what relevence did that have to this thread which was regarding how long a fridge lasted ? 😕

Kiddo, if you’re unsure how forums work and keeping topics “on topic” then I suggest you stay away from them as misunderstandings can easily happen 😉

    Whoooah ! (I didn’t see that before I posted above) 😉

If it’s a starting point it shouldn’t have been posted in the forums IMO, even though it was the subs it’s obviously created some “ripples”

Let’s get our heads together and sort it, I’m a bit in the dark over a lot of this 🙂

To save fingers (and keyboards ;)) how about a Skype conference call tommorow night after 9 pm ?

Sean brought that up when he was here last week and probably something we should do more often 🙂

I know, it’s been a hot topic in every Gas Installer edition I’ve read although I don’t get them anymore 😉

You can walk in to B&Q and buy a boiler off the shelf and no-one will ask any questions, Corgi/HSE are sh1t scared of the big retailers IMO so they just let it carry on 🙁

That noise sounds like one of the low speed field windings is shorting to me.

It may also be worth checking the capacitor 😉

Re: Beko tzg 990 Freezer red light on

I’m afraid it’s almost certainly the compressor that is failing.

It would be more economical to replace the freezer to be honest as a new compressor would cost £150-£200 to replace.

    Sorry 🙁
