Nothing on their tech site Lawrence for this model 🙁

An enquiry to SEME on this one I think.

What is it, a solid or ceramic plate ?

I would be inclined to contact them and try to find out who made it and where to get backup support (if any) to be honest:

If you find out who made it on their behalf, let us know I can try and obtain the spare for you 🙂

    Re: Diplomat Model 8702

Almost certainly the module but there are two version of this model, you’ll need to find the rating plate (behind the plinth normally).

    It’s either APM8702 or APM8702-1

Check the pressure switch attached to the sump isn’t clocked with limescale, this causes similar errors 🙂

    Is the door locking ?

If it is it’s a classic module fault.

A new fridge I’m afraid by the sound of it. 🙁

Either the compressor has failed or there is a system refrigerant leak from the description, both would be enecomical/unrepairable.

An engineer with the correct test equipment will be able to confirm of couse, check the repairs@ link below if you need one 🙂

    Re: cannon cambridge door handle/catch

The handles are normally between £10 and £20 each depending on the model (if you could advise please ;))

The roller catch is probably worn or the pin has become missaped causing the door to feel very hard to open.
