Re: Belling 924 Countrychef – Fan oven Element

I can get one for you Nick but they’re a bit pricey for the genuine one at £49.00 inclusive.

Can you email me a picture showing the dimensions as I may well be able to supply for half that price.

It’s behind the rear cover inside the oven, you’ll need a multeter to test it if you’re unsure if it’s failed or now, although quite often fan elements are visibly blown.

Rememeber to disconnect the cooker from all power before attemtping :zap:

Ah, I think I know the bit you want.

It’s the roof spray arm inlet part I expect ?

It comes with the water inlet pipe and the jet etc.

31X3801 at £36.21 inc VAT and delivery.

    Same email address applies 😉

Yep, I sent it a while ago, the email servers seem very slow today to be honest though 🙁

Sounds like the PCB to me Jon.

There seems to be loads of varioations on the model, if you can get the product code from the rating plate I’ll check the part numbers etc for you.

Very obsolete now I’m afraid as are many of the spares for the Sovereign cookers.

    Sorry !

    Re: replace thermostat

Please don’t take this the wrong way but the very fact you are asking the question tells me that it would be better to call an engineer to attend for you.

What’s the problem with the unit Neil as the thermostat may not be the problem ?

Re: indesit d41 second light flashing

Possbly the valve yes, although this isn’t in any way related to the accident with the heater so it’s a bit odd in some ways.

Also the fault codes aren’t wholly accurate at times 😉

If Bryan on the site here (R600A) has any he’ll let you know later.

There’s a massive shortage of these elements which doesn’t look like it’s going to improve I’m afraid.

    Re: AEG Santo fridge problem

It means the fridge temperature sensor is faulty.

Not a DIY job really to be honest, take a look in the directories and repairs@ for an engineer local to you.

Re: spares for candy hob and oven

Hob knobs are part number 93753846 at £9.40 inc VAT each (they will be the same price wherever as they are a genuine part only).

The oven will need two hinges, part number 91752089 at £10.18 each and two hinge runners, part number 92998921 at £5.00 each.

    Postage £3.50.

If you require, please email me at spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk and I’ll arrange for you.

Re: dishwasher cycle seem to run and run

No, the dispenser not opening will have no bearing on the problem.

If you let the dishwasher run for 10-15 minutes after the start of the normal 65C cycle then open the door you should be able to tell if the element is heating as per Penguin’s post.

I think it depends on the serial number mainly, I don’t have the info available I’m afraid, I only know from talking to other guys who have done the mods.

One was the door switch from memory.

    Re: Scandinova fridge handle

Scandinova is one of Comet’s own brands and this particular model, Comet is the only place to get the spares.

    Their spares site is:

    http://www.cometspares.co.uk/page/home

Although the handle isn’t listed there for some reason, you should be able to contact them via the website.
