Chris – I tried a “deal” with Tony on refurb parts for the shop@, it was fruitless to be honest mainly down to the exchange problem and surcharges.

It sounds like you have an earth leakage fault on one (or more) of the elements, all will need testing with a meggar to determine which one will be faulty.

There’s a Blomberg DW120 that’s made by Brandt for Comet.
The spring arrangement doesn’t look to be anything unusual though, they may have stretched perhaps ?
