ParticipantRe: UKW Meeting Sep 05
The other thread is now a poll for the abroad meeting in the UK Whitegoods forum.
I agree on the funding etc, lets leave it alone for the time being and take a deeper look at the situation in February.
Although forward planning the September one is a good idea so we have some plans and ideas in place, should we not concentrate more on the February meet for now ?

I would try via Washvac (Partscenter) as they are all part of the mother company Wolseley Group who also own HRPC (now aslo called Partscenter) and the Plumb Centers among others.

That’s good in some ways as the stats appear to be OK, although this could mean that the element has failed after all.
Did you not do a continuity test on the element while you were there ?

Here’s the generalised guide from the government business link website about working from home, much will not apply to us in this trade, more info is available here:
http://www.businesslink.gov.uk/bdotg/action/home
What to check before you start
If you are thinking of using your home as a workplace, it is a good idea to check with the following:Your mortgage lender or landlord/freeholder. Your mortgage or tenancy agreement may prevent you from using your home to run a business.
Your insurance provider. You may have to take out extra insurance.
Your local branch of the Valuation Office Agency to see if you will be charged business rates. See our guide on business rates. The Inland Revenue and an accountant to see what your income, VAT and Capital Gains Tax position is.
A solicitor to check legal aspects.
Your local HSE or local authority to find out the health and safety aspects of running your business from your home and how to do a risk assessment.
Your neighbours, to make sure they have no objection to you running your business from home.
The planning department of your local authority to see if you need to make structural changes to your home. You may need planning permission. You must also make sure you comply with building regulations

ParticipantRe: Samsung B1415J
It comes with the heater, a bit like the Whirlpool and Hotpoint one’s.
Part number is DC4700001A but showing no stock at Samsung, it’s doubtfull anyone else would hold stock either, unless someone here has one lying about ?

Are you entering this year then ? 😆
Now I’ll hide behind a big rock before I get beaten to death with a Pilchard.

Part number is C00080512 Jimbo (remove C00 for some wholesalers ;))
It should cost around £45 – £50 ex VAT trade.

ParticipantRe: Hoover Performa 1100 – fill problems – easy repair?
Presumably the spin cycle is OK, are the clothes coming out still wet ?
It sounds more like a slow draining problem rather than not enough water which is a quite uncommon complaint.
