All Bosch in the kitchen apart from a Cannon gas cooker and an old Hoover tumble dryer that lives in the conservatory where it belongs 😉

    Re: Ready or not?

Proffesionalism is there for all and sundry to see in the vast majority of posts, both trade and public. I don’t think a few LMFAO postings will take anything whatsover away from that, and at the end of the day it shows that we are all human and have sense of humour.

If we suddenly become a “stiff upper lip” bunch of stalwarts, not only do our personalities not come across correctly but we will just become another, dare I say it, dinosuar like backroom secret handshake society.

Openness is what UKW is about, and a free and easy enviroment to air our views, long may it remain that way.

    Keep ’em coming 😉

Hi Kyler, it’s £40.80 inc VAT and delivery.

Drop me an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk if you need one ordered up and I’ll arrange for you.

You’ve been watching too many consumer programmes fluffys 😉

The vast majority of Independant appliance repairers rely on repeat business from their customers as we don’t or can’t make large profits from single repairs as is the case with some other trades. If we annoy one customer, they will never call us back and more likely tell all their friends and family as well, not good business sense really is it ?

    Re: Rangemaster 110

Kirk, I would phone Rangemaster themselves on 0870 7895106 to confirm, the part number I quoted is the correct one as I have the manual but it’s not recognised by Connections so it may well have been superseded.

Just a convo I had with Kev last Friday about a Phoenix 😉

Agreed, you’ll not see any derogitory comments coming from me from now on, unless it directly effects me or UKW.

    Re: creda t601cw condenser dryer

It’s nearly always the thermostats nella and sometimes but more rarely the element.

Neither are hugely expensive and a simple enough job for an engineer so not too labour intensive either.

Pop your postcode up and someone should be able to help further with a service visit for you.

Quality stuff this Haier, what do they cost to make ? About £30 if I recall I was told.

It’s no wonder the “rebadgers” are buying them like there’s no tomorrow with the dollar signs rolling in front of their eyes.

Short lived appliances and even shorter lived reputations methinks 😉

    The LG website only Tony.

If you’re getting these calls via CDSL they should be able to provide you with the relevent information, otherwise contact LG directly for a spares account, once you have that you have full access to everthing.

Glenn, email me a photo of the catch if you can, the only spares listed for these are the knobs now due to their age.

LOL, why would you need to stand it on it to work on the controls then Martin ? 😆

And, make me a couple when you have a spare half hour please 😉

As it’s a 1400 rpm spin Tony, it’s more likely to be nothing wrong with it or the shocks are in need of the updated one’s.

Coins in the pump are often described to us as noisy bearings as well 😉
