ParticipantRe: 6224745 Fan Elements NIL Stock 🙁
I’ve got some from Qualtex now 😀
There should be no more supply problems from the pattern market for now anyway.
Masterpart should have them by now as well I assume Techbois ?

ParticipantRe: hoover bearing / seal numbers
Order the pattern Logic 12/1300 bearing kit and throw the seal away using Martin’s part number as the replacement chezza 😉

ParticipantRe: What happened to my post?
Yes it should start immediately.
If the heater is coming on straight away as it seems and the motor does not start then it can either be the motor or possibly the timer contacts arent’ making properly.
More likely the motor I would suggest and it’s circa £115.00 😯

ParticipantRe: What happened to my post?
Can you remind me of the Model number please.
I recall it was a Crosslee/White Knight tumble dryer that failed to start on occasions.

ParticipantRe: Data Loss 03/12/04
Yep, the PM’s are OK Martin, I was online as was Ken when it happened, we checked everything else.
The member’s list etc is also all OK, just all of yesterday’s forum posts have been affected 🙁

ParticipantRe: Connect don’t connect 🙁
I have exactly the same issue with Connect Martin.
Frankly, their customer support or liason department when something goes wrong is an utter shambles.
I have had several “read” reciepts for emails from that department and yet they still deny all knowledge of them until I refuse to pay the account, oddly enough that one always gets read and raises a response 😉

Got the order thanks.
I’ll send it 1st class (you just caught our last despatch run) and hopefully it will arrive tomorrow as you asked, but I won’t guarantee it being late in the day and the time of year 😉

ParticipantRe: Visa Card scam!
Thanks Martin.
There’s bound to be a hightened risk of this sort of thing given the time of the year 😡

ParticipantRe: ATAG cooling fan
That’ll be Bradshaws I’m afraid Dave 🙁
They are on 01275 343000 or email spares@bradshaw.co.uk
Forewarning though, it will be very expensive and will take ages to arrive if they don’t have it in stock.
Won’t a generic fan motor go in there ?
Dave.

It’s 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} certain to be that jenicks.
Yes, that’s the one on easyfix, it’s also available in our own shop here:

A bit cheaper as well but no picture yet 😉

ParticipantRe: DASA!
Sorry, derogitory is not the correct term really.
Quite frankly I neither have the time nor the inclination to make any comments regarding DASA period unless prompted or asked to do so.
So, a better expression should have been – I’ll STFU about it and get on with running my own business and UKW, I couldn’t care less anymore whether DASA survives or not, I’ve done my bit and my best to help.
That’s it, no more, finito 😉
Dave.
