Yep they are refering to the same thing 🙂
I’ve just opened one up and taken readings:
Two white leads – ~ 24k resistance
Two blue leads – open circuit.I can only assume there is a small heater in there that triggers a type of reed switch to close and switch the fan on, much like a washing machine interlock 😕

It’s the insulation expanding and contracting but it shouldn’t be noisy enough to keep you awake 😉
If it’s that loud, I would certainly contact the repair agents (MFI Extracare) and ask for advice on how to procede 🙂

You’ll need to look closer to check it is actually the springs that are broken as the door is not just balanced by springs, please ensure the power is off when checking :zap:
I can get whatever is required spares-wise, if you’re unsure on how to tackle the job, please check the repairs@ link below for an engineer 🙂

It depends on the model Dopper, washers are Siltal normally, the Dishwashers are Whirlpool or occasionally Haier 😥 and the Refrigeration Whirlpool most of the time 🙂

Qualtex do now also import from Nardi but they are no better to be honest, despite the promises 😉
