d-ray, you can’t buy the defrost heater for these models. You will need part number DA81-00636A which is the whole evaporator.
I believe the heater can be removed and refitted to the old evap though.
Price-wise you are looking at about £70 ex VAT.

ParticipantRe: Bosch Dishwasher Not filling
It sounds as if the anti-flood protection device has activated. Has the machine been tipped over on it’s side ?
If it’s new, you will need to contact the main Bosch network to attend for you as they cover the guarantee. They are in the weblinks section.

C4 means the circulation pump or it’s related circuit has a problem.
I can’t elaborate anymore than that as I have no further information to hand I’m afraid.
I would suggest you call an engineer to be honest, maybe check the directories section here or let us have your postcode.

ParticipantRe: Belling XOU270
Nope, it’s not a Creda in any type of ladies clothing.
This one will be a Glen Dimplex/Stoves type.
Part number is FS865045 available and in stock at Washvac and Connect.

ParticipantRe: Ocean part…
£17.11 plus VAT and a couple of quid to cover postage is about the best I can do on that one for you Cleat.
Still a bit cheaper than Connect 😉

OK, bit more info, it should be 900W/1660W element.
Could you check this from the mounting plate on the element.
If that matches up how does £25 inc VAT and post sound ? 😀
Let me know by email if all sounds OK and I will let you have further details.

Yep, that helps, I’ll investigate a more realistically priced element and get back to you.

ParticipantRe: Homark Oven
Stef, the repair cost should be between £70-£90 inclusive of parts and VAT.
If you check the directories for a local repairer, or let us know your postcode someone should be able to assist further.

ParticipantRe: ariston LI62 dishwasher fault
Two repair companies I can up with for you:
Sellens Service 01732 521500
M V Services (London) Ltd 01303 237002
Both cover CT potcodes.
Please let whichever you choose know that you got the number from Uk Whitegoods.
Hope this helps.

ParticipantRe: Hoover WDM130 Washer Dryer: Dryer Tripping
We’re on two trains of thought here, I am assuming it’s the house trip that is being thrown by the machine, reading again, I think Martin is on the right track as it’s the manual reset thermostats that require resetting.
Yes/No ?

No 🙁
Jonathan wrote:Could this be diagnosed by temporarily bypassing the switch?
No 😥
Jonathan wrote:Are wiring diagrams available for these machines?
No 👿
Sorry for all the negatives there Jonathan, it sounds to me as if the water in the base has caused further damage to other compoments. May be time for an engineer to check for you ?
Check the directory listings or let us have your postcode, someone should be able to help.

ParticipantRe: Hoover WDM130 Washer Dryer: Dryer Tripping
Assuming the machine works perfectly OK on the wash programmes ?
It can only be one of two things, the dryer heating element (the most likely) or a chaffed lead rubbing against an earthed point in the machine.
Whatever you do, please ensure the appliance is unplugged when checking.
