    Re: Hygena Thermostat

The safest way is to run it with the probe inside the fridge itself rather than pushed down the tube.

It won’t react to the fridge air temperature.

    Re: Hotpoint FFA90S Fridge Freezer

    Give it time !

If you refer to the user manual that came with it, you will find it will take several hours to reach the correct temperatue. If you keep opening the door to check it you’ll lengthen this time as well.

    Hope this helps.

Re: Don’t Fancy Hotpoint, How about Hoover…

It would appear that both have coverage problems then.

This afternoon we have been asked by D&G to attend a Hoover washing machine as GIAS can’t attend for at least a week 😯

We will be attending within 48 hours, which is the service we gladly give D&G.

Re: Maxol Majestic Duo Gas Double Oven

    I got a reply – that was quick 😯

The knobs are still available 🙂 although there is only one type now supplied for Maxol Majestic Duo.

This will mean that there is no guarantee of colour or style but they will fit the cooker.

They are £4.98 each, plus a bit of postage (about a fiver).

If you want any ordered, let me know by email and I’ll let you have further details.

Hi, I’ll place an enquiry for you with a distributor and get back with the details. They may well be obsolete now though.

Please refrain from double posts, the other one I’ve deleted for you 😉

Re: hoover performa 1100 washing machine

    Sorry, busy morning 🙂

The full spec is on the Bosch site here http://www.boschappliances.co.uk/produc … 66&type=HL

Cold fill only is quite the norm these days and will perfectly OK with your plumbing, you just won’t need the hot tap anymore.

The machine, as it is A energy rated will use very little water by comparison to older machines therefore, the requirement for cold only is far more efficient.

    Hope that helps..

    Re: DASA!

Why the fuck has Walter (the hair) Russell announced yesterday that a DASA council meeting will be held on Friday 9th September in Manchester “as agreed at the July meeting” ?

The day before the UKW meeting, and announced only yesterday !!

    Good plan ? I don’t think so 👿

    Yep, me 😀

Well, not actually in stock but I can get easily enough, 3-5 working days.

It’s £31.42 inc VAT and postage.

If you want one ordered and sent to you, just drop me an email and I’ll let you have further details.

    Regards.

That fault doesn’t exist as far as I know, it probably needs resetting.

I can’t remember the sequence off hand, have a look at the other Indesit threads recently, I’ve posted it lots of times.

Similar to DASA but mainly Brown Goods and lean toward the retail side of the industry rather than service.

    Very probably not.

I would though, be very interested to find out who approached who here, has Retra’s “representations” been their idea put forward by Retra members or have Merloni been thinking of other ideas to gain more coverage.

I am no longer a Retra member, so I can’t really ask, but someone else can I’m sure 😀

Interestingly since this thread started only two months ago, three different approaches have been made by Merloni, 3rd time lucky maybe ?
