I’m sure many would insider, but there’s a lot of damage been done to a lot of people out there, and to return to the force they once were with a solid and respected network may take some time and effort.

If the “new blood” as Rudi puts it are willing to make sweeping changes, communicate and work with (instead of trying to control) the many members and ex members they may once again earn some respect.

At the end of the day, I’m sure most of us realise that the company in general is not the problem, and I’m sure most of the staff there are genuine, honourable people with the correct intentions, but ruling with an iron fist and hoping no-one talks to each other is, shall we say a little blinkered.

So, are we to see a new level of openness from within the walls of Victoria Chambers ? I for one certainly hope so, if only for the benefit of the current membership.

May I wish the best of luck with the task in hand, whoever is going to take NESN forward.

Well that’s the way I see it anyway and my own personal opinion, which of course if anyone disagrees with, please feel free to comment.

Martin, I assume Merloni (Indesit) have sent an engineer out to investigate as it’s only two weeks old ?

I would have thought it has to be a pcb error, has the engineer tried one do you know ?

    Yep, no problem.

With VAT and carriage added it will be £58.85, I don’t have one in stock though so will take 3-5 working days to arrive here, and then another couple of days to get to you.

Why didn’t I just say about a week in the first place 😕 😆

It’s where they give their agents a bit of free advertising for chargeable customers.

I think I am correct in saying that it’s only D&G agents that get a listing on there.

    Re: SPARES

I was about to ask the same question Martin. I noted from the telephone number it was A to Z spares, who already have a trade log in to the site under a different user name.

Jackie, you can also add you’re company to the links section, in weblinks on the left, click on add link, fill in all the details, if all info is ok and correct either Ken or I will OK it.

Yes it was, if the customer or insurer is thinking of going ahead I’ll mail over the exploded tommorow for you.

    Let me know if required.

Re: LG GRL207EQ fridge freezer help req.

A whole door required I’m afraid according to the manual 😥

    From LG manual:

    Door assembly 3581JA0013C £199.89
Door foamed assembly (complete with seal) 5433JA0043C £247.52

Those prices are trade (cost) from LG 😯

Re: Zanussi dishwasher DE6965 AL7 fault code

The internal filter may need cleaning out.

The fault basically means that water is in the dishwasher but it’s not being circulated by the main pump, which could be pump/motor failure, or one of the related start/control devices that attach to it. It could also mean something as simple as a blockage.

If you are tempted to delve around inside the workings, please ensure the diswasher is disconnected from the power supply.

Re: Zanussi dishwasher DE6965 AL7 fault code

According to Zanussi it means that there is no water circulation, which could be one of a few different things causing it.

Check the filter for blockages, apart from that you will more than likely need an enginner to check the relevent components for you.

Hope that helps a bit anyway

    kwatt wrote:£16 a call!!!

That is a total joke, for anyone that may be thinking “Hmmm £160 a day if I do 10 calls” Remember that the first time hit rate will be very low due to the nature of the calls being handled, so in theory you will probably only complete about 60{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} on the first visit, that leaves a 40{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} reduction on the overall call completion rate.

£16 a call is for completed calls not the number of calls you actually carry out.

And who will be financing the spares for this ?

    Re: Electrue/NESN

So it’s a split camp already then, one director (or ex director, who knows?) calling for a member’s informal meeting on the 16th of this month and the new lady at the healm requesting that everyone shun this meeting in favour of a more formal one later in the year.

Talk of devisive prevous meetings and personal agendas being vented instead of the more important issue of sorting the network out, it sounds like someone’s gonna get some butt kicking.

Perhaps the shake up will do some good, only time will tell I suppose 😕
