John, could you post the model number please, the thread title is ADP8224 which doesn’t have the same display type you refer to.
Thanks.

Looking at the diagram and if you have 240v to the module there’s little else it can be by the looks of it.
Part number is C00086607 list price £43.86 ex VAT, alternatively you could contact one of the module repairers in the links section and see if they can either supply a refurb one for “trial” or return the suspect module for testing.

ParticipantRe: Indesit F15 Error Code
According to the error codes list E15 doesn’t exist, that’s not to say that it isn’t coming up in the display though, sounds like one of the one’s that needs resetting maybe ?
If you look in this forum at the various Indesit/Ariston error codes, there’s a few replies suggesting how this is done, I can’t remember exactly how off the top of my head.
The lack of technical information from Merloni is rather restricting unfortunately.

ParticipantRe: Waste Disposal Unit – ‘In sink erator – Model 55.1’
I meant to ask the other day about these but forgot.
We sometimes get asked to repair waste disposal units but refuse as it’s something I fealt was more trouble getting involved in than it’s worth.
Is it worth it ?
Are the spares easy to obtain (depends on the brand I know, but generally) ?
What sort of charges are applied to to the repairs etc ?Feedback would be appreciated, thanks.

Thanks, I think 😕 😆
We have no rating because
1/ we have only been D&G agents for a few months and
2/ we’ve never had a referal from the Flying Toolbox.I guess the system relies on customers going back to the site and ranking the service they have recieved, which is damn good idea, we all like to know how we’re doing out there, well I do anyway.
And Alex, EX14 ? The lovely Devon town of Honiton and it’s surrounding Hamlets, very interesting 😆

ParticipantRe: Hoover Interact AAA140 “Error 3”
I would change the pump then, it’s almost certainly a magnetic type and we all know how annoyingly unrealiable/intermitent these are.
Universal askol/plaset should do the trick.

ParticipantRe: Hoover Interact AAA140 “Error 3”
Error 3 or E3 as it should be displayed is not draining quickly enough (3 minute time out).
Probably an intermittent pump, or partially blocked waste somewhere ?
Amazing what you find when you look hard enough 😉 New Hoover error codes will be in the “known error code” thread shortly 😀
