I gave GB-dar the same answer today, they phoned me to see if I had changed my mind, I told them to review their rates with Servis UK and they might get a decent service back-up down here, which they obviously don’t have at the moment . Judging by the amount of times they keep writing and phoning 😉

Best bet is to all meet at the Travel Inn for the white goods meeting as it’s just off the AI, then after that we can follow the people who know where the Queensgate is, leave the cars there, check in, clean up then get out on the p*ss. Well that’s what I’m gonna do anyway 😉

Not just that, I was one of the blind fools that got roped in to the shares fiasco 😥

I need to get that sorted first while they are still on good terms, which is no mean feat when they have completely bollocksed that up as well, apart from the fact none of the twats in the a/c dept want to talk to me 😡

TBH as they have only taken partial payment, another mistake, I would rather cut my losses and give the fuckers away, but I don’t think anyone will want them 😉

If they are in they will 1471 and phone you back being the nosey blighters that they are. Works most times with me…………………..

The main problem is phoning a customer’s mobile from a BT landline, the costs are ridiculous. I know they are being reduced (and about time too IMO) but we are now in a position where we charge either the customer or whoever commisioned the repair if we make more than one call.

But, yes I also do this, phone the mobile, then hang up, people are so inquisitive about the unknown number ‘missed call’ they will nearly always phone it back 🙂

I’m booked in, thanks for the info Neil.

I will also be attending the DASA meeting on the 4th, so if you could add my name to the list please. It would be silly not to really as I’ll need to recover from the hangover before I attempt to drive all the way back down to Devon. 😕

I haven’t put this on the agenda for the white goods meeting as anyone who visits whether they are signed up trade members or not can download it from the site, but I assume all of us in here will certainly be making this a topic for discussion then. 🙂

Did you notice David Parker on the invitees list from CH earlier, refering to the now changed DASA venue. That might be interesting, he might want to get us to work directly for them and stuff NESN, perhaps he could be pursuded as they already use their own customers where NESN have no coverage.

I stopped 50{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} first thing on Monday, no notice, but did we get any notice we wouldn’t be paid.

I had a call from our new signing Miss Loach yesterday afternoon quoting from Ken’s statement from last week “If I only got 60{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of my wages I wouldn’t be here” . Makes you laugh really, when she pretends to be on your side, then stabs you in the back. Do they think we’re bloody idiots.

I’ll be checking with my bank tomorrow to make absolutely sure the balance from NESN is in there, trouble is, this will go on month after month, time to bail out of the remaining 50{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the area I haven’t dropped already me thinks.

TBH I haven’t checked Anglo yet, or ISDAL. But then I shouldn’t have to chase the buggers anyway, but hey, we are but simple engineers that work for fuck all aren’t we ?

I wondered when someone from there would sign up.

I noticed the name earlier earlier this afternoon and checked it out as well.

As you say interesting indeed !

I have no idea who he is or what the job title entails, but I have recieved his email twice, so he must want to shout about it !

Probably another mass staff exodus 🙂 Which will go well with the mass member walkout 😉

kwatt wrote:The problem is that the way NESN pay invoices is extremely confusing, deliberately in many ways I believe so you end up with a situation, due to the advance balance thing, where you do not know what’s been paid and what has not. You cannot interegate the NESN Call Manager system and get a realistic assesment of what calls have been paid to you and what one’s have not due to this as many that show as unpaid (to NESN) have been paid to the agent. Hence, GIAS is easier and simplier to reconcile than NESN’s shit system which is extremely labour and time intensive to reconcile.

The only way to do it is check EVERY call at payment required status to see whether it has been rejected, theoretically all others older than one month should have been paid to the member, what an absolute nightmare, especially for the bigger members (oooh missus) when they have many hundreds at ‘payment required’.

TBH I’m not the least bit interested whether NESN have been paid by the retailer or not, only whether I have, but hey, that’s too logical for an accountant to work out 😉

Thanks for that, it could become very usefull, we are always getting asked for obscure, mostly commercial elements.
