hi i finally fitted this seal i cleaned the old adhesive off first , about a week later the customer rang to say it had partly come off again , after i fitted it originally the drum was very stiff to rotate should the seal be lubricated with ptfe ? thanks john

Hi electrofix this dryer i originally brought in to workshop the customer got fed up of waiting and bought a new one , i am sure i have the right heater number
i have tried Maddocks, Connect and a general on line search with no success i just thought there may be some other issue with this model thanks john

Hi all sorry for late response even though the heater measure ok i changed it and sure enough its fine now , i was reluctant because i have changed the heater in the past without success thanks again for your input john

hi i cant believe i missed the problem however i did not know that the float level switch cuts out the heater when operated , so when i discovered the pump rubber impelor had disintegrated , i realised that once the pump chamber filled up it cut off the heater thats why it heated up initially ” doh “

hi i cant find another stat but noticed the negative side from the heater goes through the triple micro switch in the float chamber , i previously noticed the pump running when the float was not activated also it sounds a bit weak when depressed so i am going to try a new switch
