    Hi

Have attached a blowout of the thermostat area, sadly this is as good as it gets due to Miele restriction of info.

Looks like two screws on the right and one possibly behind or to the side of the thermostat knob once the outer cover is unclipped.

One of the fridge engineers may see this and chip in.

    Hi

The best way to make sure is to phone BSH group service on 0344 892 8999 and ask for pre purchase product advice.

I have seen that combo in a couple of houses but not sure if it is a correct fit.

All good for me apart from these two

We can say that there has been issues with particular models however, in general fridges, freezers and fridge freezers are extremely safe where tehy are installed and maintained correctly.

So for us, whilst *if* there were to be a fire then a metal back *might* help depending onto surroundings it’s a bit of stretch to say that this would cure all ills. As in our estimation, it won’t.

I think depending on surroundings sounds better.

Just waiting on Jim now 😛

I can’t find anywhere this side of the pond. I reckon Amazon USA would be the quickest, link here if you want to order.

I would go with that list to a degree.

The new Whirlpool machines are a lot better than they have been in recent years and I would now out them one place higher and drop Zanussi down a couple more places.

For your budget I would still go with the Bosch.

    Hi

The correct part number for the tray is 00361166 you then have to transfer existing parts over to it.

I was thinking about this very thing after I posted. The only way would be to physically see them to be sure.

    Hi

Liebherr are are regarded the best refrigeration appliances you can get they also produce for Miele as well.

That said it looks like they are trying to invade the mid to upper range price points to increase market share. They have also done this with a small range of under counter refrigeration competing with the likes of Hotpoint etc.

I would say the Liebherr is still a good bet comparing to Bosch or anything else. Will it last longer? Who knows only time will tell.

    Hi

Out of the list I would go for the Bosch every time. It has been a good model for them over the last eighteen months or so and the reliability has not been an issue either. A good all round solid basic machine which does what it is supposed to do with a two year included in the price.

I will wager the Bosch against Martin’s beko anytime 😉

If you want to go down the freestanding route you could take yours out and put a Hotpoint RFAA52P in there 😉 it’s a perfect fit.

    Hi JoshEw

No info on that particular model anywhere on the web. I have spoken to Hotpoint this morning who had the Ariston brand who agree with me that you have a 70:30 split fridge freezer, your door sizes also confirm this.

Your timber door sizes are slightly taller than the new machines available so I would suggest getting a kitchen company in to advise and install on this occasion.

Good news is 99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of integrated fridge freezers are the same height, width and depth and there are plenty that have the slider system as well.

    HTH 🙂
