    Re: Beko door seal

    Hi

Looking on Beko’s own spares it would appear that 2827083700 fits the 8227, however the WME227 is not listed at all.

I think the only thing to do would be to go armed with the seal and see what happens.

Nothing wrong with the model number Martin, it’s not a mainstream model but the guys with Beko database access should be able to help.

Fasetester can you post up the serial number and production number please 😉

    Hi

A compromise may have to be taken I’m afraid.

Miele WDA101 you can replace the bearings if they fail but has no delay timer. Be warned that Miele service is restricted to themselves, very few independents will be able to help.

I have looked at a few Siemens machines but they the ones I checked all have sealed drums but in the main do have delay timers.

    Hi

Great to see you have done your research 😀

Bosch WAE24377 7kg 1200 spin or it’s partner the WAE28377 with 1400 spin would be my choice. Both have split drums with delay timer and two year warranty. Price wise around the £330 mark and up.

    HTH 🙂

    Hi

I normally take the cheapest selling price of a new equivalent minus it by 60{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} and round up to the nearest nine pound.

Take your Beko 7kg 1600 spin new at Currys is £189. To shift it probably £79 and perhaps cut back on the warranty period.

Nothing sadly to be made reconditioning appliances these days 😥

    Hi

Light bulb replacement is usually covered in the instruction manual.

    Hi

Sadly that model number isn’t recognised by Bosch. The ENR and FD numbers are usually found on the inside of the door frame.

    Re: How does ‘Cashback’ work?

Nothing sinister, very simple in fact to administer and the customer receives a pre loaded Mastercard direct from BSH. Claims can be made either online or by post.

Helps BSH to increase unit sales, more importantly the more claims received the more data they have to target these purchasers in the future with marketing campaigns.

The built in part ex promotion is slightly different in that BSH reduce the cost price by 60{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the trade in value and the retailer can support this up to 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} if they wish.

    Hi

I presume it’s the pleated cartridge filter 😉 It does fit quite a few models.

The part number is 35457 which upon Googling there could be one here but I would probably enquire first on stock availability.

    Hi

Model number is fine, the attached drawing may help Martin explain further.

Anything DIY outside of this we cannot advise on. This would then fall into the remit of a Gassafe engineer in the interest of consumer safety.

Looks like the fairies have installed a nice green spare parts help button in the public forums overnight 😉

On a more serious note, good idea as the user has a visible button on all the public help pages. That should help to increase spares orders 😀
