No record of that model number but there is a KIM30443GB if that’s the one then looking at the schematic it looks it’s a 70:30 split but I’m not 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure. If it is then yes you can look at A.O. here for ideas.

It would be a better fit but yes the drop down door will still be the same depth. The only other option would be a dish drawer like the Fisher Paykel which will definitely be not as deep.
