    Hi Peter

You could try this from the Whirlpool site.

If that does not do the trick I would be getting the electrician back to check all the screw connections are nice and tight.

    HTH 🙂

    Hi

Dave in the UKW shop may be able to help, an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk with the model and serial number will get the ball rolling.

Failing that then AWS on 01603 412324.

    Hi

Send Dave in the UKW shop an email quoting the full ENR no WFO2865UK/?? and the FD number. He should be able to sort the correct part quickly for you.

    Hi

I have checked through freestanding and built in appliances but have found nothing.

It may be worth visiting a mobile home or caravan supplier for this sort of narrow machine.

    HTH 🙂

I think we will go for Zanussi. I am still a bit undecided on Gas or Dual. From the installation point of view, and is easy to fix a dual cooker where only Gas cookers have been installed previously? What should I look for to check to ensure that dual might fit?

You will need a 30A electric supply for a dual fuel for the ovens.

Also, out of curiosity, a few friends have recommended me Belling quoting that they are British made and very good brand. Do you have any thoughts on their cookers?

Pop into your local retailer(s) and compare the two. My money will still be on the Zanussi 😉

I hope this is not needed in time for Christmas :eeek:

    Hi

According to all the info I can find Gorenje do not produce a height reduction lid I’m afraid.

An old dishwasher door from your local recycling centre would do the trick.

Simply cut to size and fix to top of appliance.

The official response is yes you can 😀

As for safety and to stop spillages from entering into the machine it is recommended that a thin plate is fitted in place of the worktop lid.

    Hi

There is good and not so good on both fuel types, mostly it’s what consumers have been used to.

A good read here on one versus the other.

If you are looking at all gas then I would still go for Zanussi or Cannon.
