ModeratorRe: Hotpoint impossible bottom oven element
Hi Dave
That one is the same as C00117373 which is for the left hand oven 😉 I get the same C00260305 as Iadom for the right hand oven base element which is just a rectangular shape with the usual two tags.Don

ModeratorRe: New Kitchen = New Appliances. Help please.
Hi
We have stocked Gorenje products across the range for the last thirteen years. They produce good quality products and are about the best in their price range. All products come with a two year warranty while some built in and refrigeration will come with a full five year cover. Service is carried out on a local basis and spares are readily available.
The pure American machines like the Whirlpool and the Maytag are still the best rather than the clones which most of the budget manufacturers are pushing out. As a mid option the Bosch is worth a look.
However if budget of 1k is the main criteria then yes go with the Samsung with it’s five year warranty.
HTH 🙂

Hi
Dave in the UKW shop should be able to source that for you. An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk should get the ball rolling.

Wanted to spend around £350 for the dishwasher
Bosch SMV50C00 would fit the bill.
Double oven £500Assuming this is a built in double I would stay with Bosch and look at the HBM13B221. Colour of fascia will also affect the price as well 😉 Gorenje could be an option too.
Hob £350
I could go with that hob. Before you decide take a look at the Gorenge G760AX with it’s five year warranty.
Hood £150
Hoods are a bit of a minefield as far as designs go, you can have chimney. straight or curved glass and so on.
Fridge freezer £900 – £1000
It’s well reported on here and other sites as well that Samsung have had problems in the past. What the new crop are like I don’t know but I’m sure someone will chip in with some accurate info. If it were me I would be upping the budget and looking elsewhere.
Deleted your other thread as you seem to have covered it’s content here.

Hi George
I would go for the GDHA brands Belling and Stoves. In fact I am about to remove our 3 year old single Stoves gas oven in stainless steel which was was in the house when we moved in last year and replace it with an electric one if you are interested?

The only free info I can find for faults is the on the Simpson website. You could try an email to them, you never know you may get some help.

Nothing comes up on my Whirlpool info for that number, is it a UK model?
K.
I wouldn’t think so K, the OP’s IP address suggests he’s in Iceland.

It’s the way Facebook links and the time it takes to load onto UKW. If they are running slow or slower than normal then you will get the “white box.” A pain I know but probably not a lot UKW can do.
