The only brands that will beat the Bosch IMO would be Miele and Liebherr (who produce for Miele) and you would be looking at a considerably higher budget.
The Gorenje RKI4256W 50:50 split, comes with a five year warranty is worth a look at as well.

If you go for the brushes as Martin suggests and you can’t find any locally in Oz they are available here in our shop for your machine the Bosch part number is 154740.
You may need to enquire with Dave on the postage at spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk before ordering.

It would appear that all the reps bar one have been made reduntant. Service will carry on as per normal as far as my contact is aware.
DAD are taking on most Whirlpool product lines in due course. Supplying independants and what were the direct accounts as well.
Full announcement expected at the DAD trade show the end of the month.

Not a lot of Whirlpool stock at DAD. Just looked at washers and only three models in stock, 1 dishwasher and no fridge freezers.
My contact is out of the office this afternoon. Will see what I can find out on Monday.
