To withstand a temperature of 40C you would need a fridge in the tropical class. For example a sub tropical rated machine which we have here in the UK would not last long at all in a tropical environment.

You need to take a good look at the climate classes on this link to see what I mean.

In the case of Iran with the hot summers with temperatures in excess of 30C you would certainly need a sub tropical class.

Your’e best bet is to phone LG and Samsung direct in the UK.

They will probably deal with customer returns themselves by re working them and selling them on on places like Ebay.

Agree with Dave on lifetime of the clock, Make sure it’s taken out of demo mode before you buy and also ask whether or not any elements have been disconnected for the “demo” mode.

Get the two year guarantee in writing.

If it’s this one https://b2b.hotpoint.co.uk/ you are trying to log in to then it’s gone. There is a new one which we are still trying to to register for but it’s taking an age. You should have had an email around Xmas time.

From what I can gather the new site is not very user friendly!!

Nothing wrong on your part there are many forums on this site 😀

I have moved it to spare parts help as it is more applicable to your enquiry.

If my old memory is correct those bearings came in a plastic bag, the bearings and seal had a light machine type oil covering on them which if I remember correctly did have a whiff to it.

So I think they would be okay. The only part I would check would be the rubber seal for any degradation.

The way I tend to look at things when they such a big difference is that it’s priced at nearly double, so will it last twice as long probably not, will the Bosch be more reliable during it’s life span possibly so as it’s a better build.

Costs to consumer, Beko spares whether fuctional or cosmetic are cheaper than Bosch.Any good engineer is able to repair both brands so no difference there.

Overall Beko offers good value but I still have a well known soft spot for Bosch as a brand.

Have a read here and here this will give you a feel for what is what around this subject.

Having read all that the brands you are considering are all around the mid price range by today’s pricing. Personally I still like Bosch and Beko.

Miele are still considered to be the best even though they to have gone down the split tub route. Could be worth looking at if you can stretch to the extra on the budget.

Have deleted your post in washing machine forum as it’s easier to keep replies to one thread.
