Re: In search of the fourth cord

Deleted a couple of spam posts this morning and I deleted the link in this post to Nisbetts.

gillyronald wrote:Hi…evzybaby. Nice to meet you all here. Last time when I needed last range of catering equipment, I bought many of them from Nisbets . They are having wide range of varieties at economical prices. I hope this would help you and posted here.

Nothing really to do with Range cookers, could be a spammer as the word range is used in the post.

    Spam or not ?

The OP is after a domestic range cooker, not a range of catering supplies. Your reply suggests that you are wishing to advertise Nisbets on this site in which case you would need to contact admin@ukwhitegoods.co.uk to obtain the current rate.

I have removed link to Nisbets so as not to cause any confusion.

    Hi

Rangemaster are a quality built product in their price range you will not get a cheap one 😉

Net prices are about the best it gets for new products, try checking with your local retailer and then the net and you will see what I mean.

The only other option would be to try Sparkworld down here in Devon, they stock lots of graded appliances. You never know you may get lucky, but then you have to add on some way of getting it delivered.

Re: AEG or Neff – which is best?

    Hi

AEG are part of the Electrolux group, the products are not the same as they used to be when AEG was a German brand. However they are still miles better than others out there.

Neff are part of the BSH group of companies, it`s well documented on this site that I have a preference for their products having recently refitted our kitchen with Bosch and Neff throughout.

As a retailer we sell more Neff integrated appliances than all of our other suppliers put together.

This article on thename game might help.

    Hi Jane

There is a good article here from our buying guide on dishwashers. If your budget is around the £350 – £400 I would go with either Bosch with a two year warranty, Siemens (sister company) to Bosch with a five year warranty and slightly higher spec or one of the AEG`s these only have a one year warranty though.

    Hi

Thanks for the info, Yes you can use the fan cooking option independant of the grill and the microwave. The only real drawback with them is that the grill units are not as effective as the grill on a single oven. That aside we have had a Bosch installed for a couple of years now with no trouble at all, there`s a recommendation for you 😉 good selection here from Bosch.

Why not try your local electrical retailer for some discarded polystyrene sheets, Beko refrigeration among others use thin sheets of the stuff.

    Hi bettyb

Help me out a little here please as I`m a little confused. And before anyone hijacks this thread, I know it doesn`t take much these days 😆

1st oven request is no problem I can understand your requirements.

Okay 2nd oven, are you looking for a single oven with a microwave and grill incorporated into it or a combination microwave which would have forced air cooking, microwave and grill?

Any preferance on colour as this will affect the total costings as well?

    Re: American fridge delivery advice

    Hi

I wouldn`t even attempt to load it into your mpv far to risky IMO you could damage / break all sorts of things, much better if it travels in an upright position.

If you have bought this from a retail outlet I would get them to deliver it for you. If this is a private purchase just Google man and van for hire followed by your location, there are loads of them about who will do a reasonably priced delivery.

Rather be safe than sorry 😉

    Re: which SEBO?

    Hi

Sebo are well respected within the industry and on here as well. Good solid German machines with one of the best guarantees going.

I would have said on balance reading your post that the X4 upright would be the best option. Nice and easy to wizz around the flat and more importantly, less room is needed to store it when not in use.

No doubt user Higherwaterlevel will see this and respond 😉
