ModeratorRe: Groaning FF Freezer JLFZW 1806
Hi
GSD34N01 is not a frost free appliance, any model in their upright range with letters starting GSN is frost free. Classixx is the budget range, Exxcel machines will have added functions and features while the top range Logixx is their all singing and all dancing range which will come a premium price. All ranges come with the standard Bosch two year warranty.

Hi hbrac
Hotpoint FZS175 has seven drawers circa £399 with a one year labour and five year parts warranty, Bosch GSN28V01 7 drawers circa £500 with a full two year guarantee, Gorenje FN61230 8 drawers comes with a good five year warranty. These apart you will have to up the budget quite a bit.

Hi art
A good read here on range cookers to give you a start.
For any further threads, type range AND cooker into the search option, there is quite a bit more info available.

Hi raceboy
Did you check out the where to buy on the ISE website? If you did and had no luck then probably a phone call ISE direct on 0845 226 1268. The machines and the principles are well worth pursuing.

ModeratorRe: scrappage scheme …..for white goods…!!!!
I agree with what you say Ken but it could be the difference for some retailers as to whether they stay afloat or not. I know there is always the argument that the weaker ones would have failed anyway but at least they would have had a chance to survive.
Perhaps I`m just looking through my rose tinted specs in my outlook :rolls:

Hi canufixit
Cracking idea if you ask me. It will certainly stimulate not only our industry but also the economy. This could also be a lifeline that many of the small independant retailers have been looking for in these uncertain times.
I just hope that if it does get the green light that the BRC / government keep the operation and logistics simple or is that asking for too much :rolls:
If you want a little more reading, Ken posted this on the homepage yesterday and then there was this article in the ERT mag last week.

Has Admiral been sucked into the Maytag brand?
Hi aris
The refrigeration has indeed been sucked into the Maytag and Amana brands. Their laundry range is still available though.HTH

ModeratorRe: Dehumidifier recommendations
Hi
I am always wary of electrical items for sale on Ebay by MOP`s as you never really know what you are buying. Trade sellers with an almost 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} rating are a safer bet 😉 Retailers own brands I tend not to look at to be fair, sometimes these can be produced by a reputable manufacturer, on the other hand it could be a far eastern import with little or no service backup.

Hi hbrac
The Amcor has better spec, 2 speed fan and will cover up to a three bedroom property. The Delonghi on the other hand is a neater machine which may be more suited to the flat but it only has a single speed fan. Either machine would be a good buy but if it were me I would go with the Amcor.

Iv`e just nudged him too in the same thread . Seems he`s a retailer as well. He posted in the vacuum cleaner forum saying he displays Miele and sells Sebo cleaners. Do we know where he is located?

It would take less time to apply for trade access than it did to post the 8 replies you just posted in the public forum. :rolls:
Great reply from bazza 😆

You have been asked several times to apply for trade access, There are any number of people on the trade side who will be happy to help you, they will not post in the public forums.
Iadom is right All it takes is a quick email to admin@ukwhitegoods.co.uk giving them your business details. Once authorised, you will then have so much more access to advice and help.
gandh1 wrote:problem i had was that my supplier could not inform me for sure which part no for stats would be for that machine, hence being more than happy to get them off of whitegoods… where there was tech advise available!
There is tech advice available in the trade forums 😉 you just need to apply for it.

Hi hushpuppy7
Fully integrated Neff S52E50X1GB has good spec and should come in under budget as well. AAA rated and comes with the usual two year warranty. A lot easier to install as well compared to other brands.
