Being the sassenach I am I had to Google map to see where Benbecula is. Talk about being exposed the the Atlantic elements, I should think it must get a little drafty at times especially if you are wearing the male traditional dress 😆

ModeratorRe: Neff T4483 induction hob
Hi Jo
According to the Neff catalogue the connected load is 7.29 kw however as you have a “boost” option on each ring the maximum rating then becomes 9.2 kw. Which equates to 38.3 amps if my calculation is correct 😉

Hi skywatch
Normally Siemens are streets more expensive than Bosch so I didn`t go there 😉 however if someone has a Siemens in stock albeit an older model at a slightly higher price I would go for it.

Hi skywatch
It has to be the Siemens everytime, the guarantee alone is worth about £100. Both brands are from the same stable, in the event of any service required it would be the same engineer that would visit. The Siemens products are slightly better on water consumption and usually a couple of decibels quieter.

skywatch wrote:Hi,
I am thinking of getting one of these. Are they any good?
Bosch dishwashers are the best in their price range.
skywatch wrote:
Where are they made?Germany, Poland, Spain amongst others. You need to drop down the door and look just left of centre for the country of origin.

Is the 2 year warranty any good? It`s one of the best around for free 😉

Hi
Pressing the start, cancel and on / off buttons at the same time should clear the demo mode.

I don`t like them full stop, every day I get the same question in the shop “why do they keep going”?
Go for mains voltage GU10 they come in 35w, 50w and LED low energy. I have only replaced one in 18 months in our kitchen, much more reliable and saves you pennies into the bargain 8)

Cant believe why these companies do it, when you can sell a perfectly good product at such a stupid price and no one makes any money.
Hi StevenI know exactly where you are coming from, trouble is manufacturers are looking to increase volume in order to appease the hiearchy, maintain job security and pay a dividend to their shareholders.
We no longer stock the “standard” Henry but carry the NRV200 commercial version with the wider skirt for added stability, just gives us a little edge over the competition 😉 You can get them from DAD at Gloucester for £69.99 plus VAT, we sell out at £99.99. To increase the margin on the sale I make sure a pack of bags is sold at the same time.
