    Hi

Admiral SAC2027 fits the bill nicely if you can go an extra half a mile on price 😉 well worth it if you can. It measures 1800 high, 904 wide and 602 deep. There are others in the range on the Admiral web site in different colours and styles.

    Hi Phidom

Mediator is accessed either by “brand” or “category” from the home page. If there is a mediator picture available for the item you are looking up you will see a tab for it.

Any recommendations? Mid-high range Bosch and Miele? If there was an ISE dishwasher I’d definitely consider it.

Thanks in advance for any help!

    Hi

The SGS69L12GB is would be a good choice, very efficient on wash, energy and easy to use available in silver and has a two year warranty. Comes in a nice silver too.

As for the Miele it certainly is a good product without a doubt, as long as you don`t mind going the extra mile on price. The G1222SCI would be my choice with the unique cutlery tray above the top basket which then gives more room in the bottom basket.

As for an ISE dishwasher I think I heard a rumour that there may well be one next year.

    Hi hoot37

It`s perfectly normal washing machines and dishwashers are wet tested by the manufacters to make sure there are no leaks etc.

Any advice on a brat-proof cheapie would be good…

    Hi Kate

See if anyone has a Rowenta LA58 dry iron left. It is now discontinued by Rowenta, but someone may have one left. They are built like a tank, have an alloy base, good weight, all this for about a tenner. Yes they are “brat” proof as well.

Anything from the “Chinese” quarter will be rubbish at around the tenner IMO.

I’ve seen the Neff S5943 and the Bosch SRV43M03 – I have a sneaking suspicion they are the same machine – anyone confirm? Any anyone have a particular reason to choose one over the other?

Both brands come under the same banner, I personally prefer the Neff range as you seem to get the same spec for a a few pennies less 😉

They come in at the £450-475 mark so just wondering if there is anything else out there in that price bracket that I should be considering? Miele’s are way too expensive (not even sure they do one), so not sure if anyone else to look at – ideas appreciated.

The Miele is about double the figures you mention so probably not an option. My shout would be go with the Neff and it`s two year warranty, you won`t go far wrong.

Re: The philosophy of flat irons…

    Hi Kate

All things considered I would go for a reasonably good steam iron like the Bosch TDA8337 It covers your criteria nicely and doesn`t cost the earth either 😉 We sell more Bosch irons than the likes of Tefal, Philips, Rowenta just to name a few. Not only that but I am a big fan of Bosch products in general as the quality of product is far better than a lot of the tat out there nowadays 😀
