Or try the retailer locator on their website, for a stockist near you.

I know some of the J.Lewis stock is Zanussi built. Looking at the picture the design is similar to Liebherr.

The 5 year warranty at £70 seems a tad steep as you are only paying for an extra two years.

I am not sure but I think there may be a Whirlpool that still has H+C fill, but that may also have been phased out by now.

    Jim.

Just been discontinued but someone may have some left. IIRC it was the AWOD5706 and the AWO3571, but you will need to check these models instore to be sure.

Have a read here sassie of Jims link 😉 http://tinyurl.com/ywqc9z

    Hi Paulo

A couple of the Whirlpools had hot and cold fill. You will need to be quick as they are now discontinued. I think it was the AWO3751 and the AWOD5706. If you are unlucky then it will have to be a cold only. 😉

    Hi

Bosch are still the best machines out there at the mo in the under £400 price bracket. The Bosch you currently have is probably their Tactile machine something like the WAA24260 which is a budget appliance down specified and is not usually in their catalogue. To tick most of your`e boxes the WAE28465. To keep any of the modern washing machines clean from gunking up, a once a month maintenance wash is the answer. As far as soap boxes are concerned there a good article here. If you want to go the extra mile then the Miele are worth a look at, for instance the W520 at around the £500 mark has a free 5 year warranty until the end of July. Others further up the range have a whopping ten year cover.

As far as the fridge freezer is concerned look at the ones with the “Big boxes ” again Bosh has about the biggest in itheir KGN34V00GB. Another way for large capacity users would be to have a seperate fridge and freezer if space allows. Both Hotpoint and Bosch produce appliances which will stand side by side and you can reverse the door hinge on one to give that American look.

Dual fuel cookers,Cannon, Zanussi or the Belling ranges seem about the best at the mo.

    Re: Which Fridge Freezer?

    Hi

Looking at the model number of the Ocean I would guess that it maybe a 6.1cu ft fridge and 4cu ft freezer, Zanussi among others used to use this method a few years ago.

For al large fridge and frezer take a look at the Bosch range, good simple layout giving max storage space and a two year guarantee. Take a look at the KGV28V01GB or its wider relative the KGN39V00GB. The current range of Hotpoint machines give lots of little extras which to my mind are taking up valuable space but if you were to strip thgese out the appliances do give good storage. The RFA52P is a good basic machine or the FF187P is it`s larger partner.

    Hi

Try House of fraser, John Lewis and OGormans who are probably the largest independant supplier that I am aware of who are in Bicester. Well built machines with a good back up service.

Oh how I wish Bosch would produce a 60cm wide electric cooker, we could deffo sell loads if they did. Probably the best electric cooker out there at the moment would be the Zanussi range, much more sturdy than the current crop of Creda / Hotpoint machines. The ZCE7680 is a good all round machine and always worth a look.

Just aside Tricity still produce the “Marquis”, however I will say that the quality is not what it used to be, tis very tinny on the doors.

Re: HOTPOINT RFA52P – any views?

    Hi Jules

The Hotpoint in question is about as good as anything else out there at the moment in that price range. The version with the clear drawers is indeed the latest version, it`s only been out for a couple of months. A nice touch, is the two middle freezer baskets have blue handles which double up as ice cube trays. As far as the guarantee goes all Hotpoint appliances have a one year labour and five year parts cover.

    Hi Phoebe

I`ve checked through the A-Z of the popular brands and it looks like 4.0 cu ft is about as big as it gets. There a couple around with about an extra third of a cubic foot in the freezer but the price gets silly. The Hotpoint FFP187 would be a good buy.

No stock at Bosch or at our normal distributor on either model I`m sorry to say.

I have my last WFR2869 on display down here in Exeter if you can arrange collection. Send me a PM if you are interested.

    Hi Phoebe

Take a look at the Hotpoint and Bosch websites, they both supply fridge freezers with good size fridges and a reasonably sized freezer. If you can post up some maximum physical sizes, i`ll have a look on Tuesday when I am back in the shop.
