Footy fever has taken it`s grip on the city with over 20,000 sold so far and still two days to go before the deadline.
Ordered our tickets last week and arranged coach travel today for Wembley on Sunday. Coach leaves Exeter 7.10AM 😯 it`s gonna be a long long day. Rumour has it, but I will confirm later that a standard burger is a whopping £8.00 8O. Think I will be taking a flask and some sarnies 😉 . Will post some piccies up on Monday.

Was it Cambuslang that featured on a TV programme a couple of years ago when Hoover wanted to transfer productuion of floorcare to Portugal?
The management and staff came up with a business plan to keep the workforce employed and continue production in Scotland.
That soon went by the way then :rolls:

Hi
It would appear not, I googled the PSW23RSWSS which led me to pricerunner among a couple of others. When you enter into the UK option it gives you the UK versions like the PSG29S which you can view here

I was working it out on our current supplier Scottish Power which we pay a one off annual payment of £14 for capped electricity. This is the third year we have done this and it seems to work for us or so I am led to believe by my wife 😉

What I would like to aim for is simple, low energy and low water usage. It may well be that modern systems are already low energy and low water but I do not know and welcome your thoughts. Thanks for your time.
Hi
Modern systems are indeed water and energy efficient. This has come about more in recent years, with manufacturers introducing newer technology, water consumption has been greatly reduced with the majority of machines now only cold fill. Then there is the issue of reducing electricity needs and our carbon footprint as well.
All machines now have to be energy efficient and all appliances in shops have to display an energy label, which among other things will show how much water and electricity is uses per cycle.
For example I have a Bosch WAE24465GB 7kg load in the shop which uses only 49 litres of water and only 1.19 kwh of electricity (probably about 10p) per cycle.
The German suppliers like AEG, Bosch and Miele all have easy to use control panels which are uncluttered unlike some of the others around.

Like Trilobite says “stay away from the Chinese type machines”.

On the surface it seemed okay Ken. You sign a simple agreement which states that you will allow them to collect all large appliances and floorcare too. Collections would be on a two week cycle. When I asked how come it was free? I was told that they want it to be self financing, as they would gain income by selling some of the waste on. I must admit the guy seemed a bit too keen to uplift now I think back. Perhaps they are desperate to get number quota up to full the obligation they have.
I was asked if we stocked Servis appliances when I said “no not in a million years” It was a case of okay I`ll get sales to phone you. Had the phone call told em I would think about it :rolls: ho hum.
In the end we decided not to go with it as like the old saying goes “if a deal seems to good to be true then it probably is”.
