    Hi

The only way of checking sizes is via the manufacturers web sites or brochures individually. If you post up the maximum height you can go to I will have a look through my trade listings for you.

    Hi Annie

A couple of options, Whirlpool ARC5030 half and half fridge to freezer is only 140 tall with a 4.1cu ft capacity in both fridge and freezer. Or the Zanussi ZERD7446 which is 140.4 high but has a large fridge 6.6 cu ft fridge on the bottom with a small 1.6 cu ft freezer on top.

You could still get the microwave on top if need be 😉 .

annie14 wrote:OK, thanks. The Zanussi looks quite good, but is 76dB quite loud for a washing machine?

75 decibels is reckoned to be the average speaking voice, quiet really. The spin part of the cycle is the noisiest. If noise could be an issue Hotpoint stock a few machines which are super silent but you may have to up the budget a bit 😉 .

The current cooker measurements are 90/55/60 for a double gas oven. I saw quite a good Cannon – are they ok?

Cannon are fine, they have the largest range of gas cookers available and in a choice of colours too. In the 55 width there is the Stratford which is seperate grill and oven or the Chester which has double oven and programmable timer.

The fridgefreezer is really old and not very tall (120/55/60), so I’m not sure I can get hold of one that size now, all the new ones seem to be very tall. I’d probaly go for a larger fridge capacity than freezer. Any recommendations gratefully received!! 😀

There are some 55 wide fridge freezers available still, what is the maximum height you can fit in? Let me know and I`ll have a look around for you.

What a great turnround, we outplayed and outfought them in the 120 minutes and deserved a little fortune in the penalty lottery.

We are off to Wembley, we are off to Wembley la la la la, la la la la.

Just hope I can get a ticket now.

Just had a look around the shop at the Miele appliances we have on display including a few cylinder cleaners which isn`t many I know. I am glad to say that 99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} are still made in Germany. The only exception is the F1313 under counter freezer which is now made in Austria.

Just as well, there are better machines out there at around the same price IMO. Zanussi ZWF1427W 1400 spin 7kg load, Whirlool AWOD4505 I know it`s a 1200 spin but still better than the Candy. Or for a little more there is the Bosch WAE24162GB which has a two year guarantee as well.

Re: Is there a better way to find a 134cm height F/F?

    Hi

The 55cm width in refrigeration is getting scarse as everything nowadays is geared at 60cm width to get maximum storage. Couple that with the height you have available, machines that size just aint out there in choice any more. The nearest one I can find is the Bosch KDV20V00 which is 125 high, which has a top mount freezer not what you wanted I know, but you will need to compromise big style I`m afraid. The nearest size with freezer on the bottom would be the Whirlpool ARC5030 which is 139 high but it does give you a fifty fifty split.

So It`s either the Bosch type and don`t change units or its a makeover job and put a 60cm width machine in. The choice is endless around what is becoming the most popular height circa 180cm. Or fill the existing gap with a larder type unit and resite the fridge freezer to another locale.

Can you post up some physical sizes please annie as cookers and refrigeration come in different widths. Also on the cooker would this be natural gas? As for the washing machine spin speed and colour would be nice 😉 .

    Thanks

    Hi GD

The “traditional” style of kettle round in shape like the Russell Hobbs 4101 which has been around for about thirty odd years very rarely leak, a good design which has stood the test of time.

Older style of jug kettles with water guage to the bottom like your`e friends were very prone to leaking. New style ones don`t 😉 .
