Hi Dave
The american side by side units are normally around the 1760 mm height that I know of. Is it possible to relocate new appliance to another part of the room? If not then possibly the Zanussi range is the nearest I can find,
the ZERC2425 fridge 1240mm high X 550mm wide and its matching partner the ZEUC1825 these would fit side by side andyou could reverse the door hinge on one to give that side by side look but without the drinks dispenser . Zanussi link here for you.HTH

Like, is it installed in a cupboard that resonates and, in effect, will cause the sound to be amplified. Is it sitting on a sound reflecting floor surface, killer that one in kitchens as laminate flooring and some tiles will reflect sound and amplify what you hear to a degree.
K.Just beat me to it K 😉
When we sell any frost free appliance we point out to the customer the wood suspended floor problems and the stud wall can cause extra noise if appliance pushed back tight.
Saying that I supplied my daughter last autumn with a Hotpoint FFA91 (replacement model now available FFA97) which is in the kitchen on a concrete floor and apart from the odd gurgle it`s as quiet as a mouse.
Another good one is the Bosch KGU31125 frost free, sold one recently.
Customer came in to say how pleased they were, but because it was so quiet they found themselves opening the door to make sure it was still working 😀If you can go the extra mile then the Miele range is good too.

ModeratorRe: Bosch WFLi2440 is it flat on the back or do bits stick
Hi jbs
Looking at the technical diagram it would appear that it has a flat back with a measurement of 574mm deep. However there is a cut out for skirting board use which is a max of 180mm high but the drawing is not clear as to its depth. This might help with the sink waste problem. Bosch have a product advice line which may be able to assist you further. They can be reached on 08702 400060.

Bosch have also taken up the gauntlet with a good bricks and mortar offer 😀
The rep has just visited with the offers for February. To say I am pleased would be an understatement. Choice of 40 odd freestanding products across all sectors. Our committment is to take a minimum of ten pieces in any mix and recieve a Bosch discount bonus. A little extra margin for us and a good deal for our customers too.Who is gonna be next then 😉

Saw March Of The Penguins, last night at the cinema. Even better photography and excellent narration by Morgan Freeman.

Well new year and a new beginning.
Neff have just given us the first value promotion of the year. Checking the prices out with the net, I can honestly say that we can more than compete .
Well done Neff long may it continue.
