The title of the thread got me thinking. I reckon it`s an exclusive line to the CO-OP.
However what a bargain you have got as the nearest Bosch model I can find is a lot more expensive.Don

Upon entering the hall we were aware how spread out the stands were and looking at the floor plan I managed to obtain it was clear that while there were some suppliers missing, I was surprised to see a lack of visitors. The last show we attended was five years ago under the old banner and by eleven it was buzzing.
However while the visitor numbers were down on previous years, it did mean you could spend quality time with suppliers that you wanted to see.
Here is a snapshot of our visit
Whirlpool was showing their new range of six sense machines which will be available this September. Only real difference is the control panel which now has blue touch segment programme selector instead of the normal selector knob and blue backlit options panel. Had a quick look at the American refrigeration and built in appliances but nothing new here really just cosmetic changes.
Onto Bosch, Neff and Siemens. I must admit I was impressed with the amount of built in appliances that were on show and the quality of display was excellent. There was a large number of staff on these stands available to help. Just as well as they were the busiest of all the stands we visited. Well done BSH group.
Gorenje was our next stop where we met with the staff from DAD. They are the sole distributors for this brand in the UK. Gorenje had its range revamp last autumn so while there was nothing new, it was good to see all the product ranges and again being displayed well. There was certainly no shortage of visitors here. As DAD is our preferred supplier, it was a good opportunity to get to meet people you would normally contact either by phone or email. The bottled water was a nice touch too.
BSH groupβs new brand Viva was showcased here. This is the brand that is aimed at the younger generation who are unable to afford the pure Bosch products. They have taken from the core range two washing machines 1000 and 1200 spin from their factory in Portugal, one 12 place dishwasher from its Polish factory, one 55cm wide larder fridge and matching freezer, one static fridge freezer and one frost free fridge freezer. The refrigeration comes from Germany and Greece. These appliances will be available from June this year and come with the standard guarantee of two years and service by BSH group. No actual prices were available on the day however I did get a price guide of Β£259 for the 1000 spin. At only Β£40 cheaper than a pure Bosch 1000 I am sure I know what our customers would be doing. I can only assume that they are in fact looking at a price area they are not currently in as a way to increase unit sales and turnover. We will have to wait and see.
Lofra appliances were in attendance for the first time. They account for about thirty eight percent of the cooker market in Italy. These Italian suppliers were showing their range cookers, hoods and built in units which will be available later this year. The style is excellent. The ranges come as all gas or dual fuel with multi function ovens in some versions. They come in various sizes and finishes from 60 cm upwards. I was impressed by the build factor of all the products. Doors, seals, pan supports, taps, hinges and the weight of door are good too. Were all well constructed. Look out for the curved door range which will be available soon it looks smart. Usual one year guarantee applies with an extra four years parts cover. Available through DAD Gloucester.
Well that was our visit. We stayed for about four and a half hours made some new contacts, caught up with current ones as well. We enjoyed the day and yes I would visit again.

ModeratorRe: Siemens
Siemens products are generally well built appliances offering good styling, reliability and ease of use. With a two year guarantee and service supplied by Bosch engineers you can`t do much better. Your`e local independant retailer will be able to advise on the best model which would suit your`e needs.
Hope this helps.

I shall be visiting their stand tomorrow and yes I will be asking that question so as the saying goes watch this space. Shame about Bosch service losing out though, as it certainly enhanced Gorenje standing in the market place in the consumers eyes .

Normally these ” updates ” are on a chargeable basis. Could be worth a phone call to Dyson first π

There is normally a floor plan at the entrance when you book in giving the layout. Why don`t we say 1.00pm ish at the bar as R600 says.

Stick with the WFO2866 with it`s 1400 spin and variable control. The only advantages with the WFX2467 is 3 litres less water consumption, slightly less electricity and an LCD display.

There is nothing in the UK appliance market that I am aware of, unless it is marketed direct by one of the kitchen manufacturers.
Out of curiosity where have you seen these?
