Re: New dishwasher, fridge & freezer

With that budget you could purchase Miele fridge and freezer. Remember to measure gap available for fridge and freezer as you can purchase 55cm or 60 cm in most makes nowadays. Bosch slimline dishwasher should do the trick as Miele do not produce one. You will still have money left over as well 😀

    Let us know the outcome

    Re: dryer choice?

    Hi

The only dryer I am aware of is the Zanussi TC180W Condenser dryer slimdepth. Measures 595mm wide 686mm high and only 420mm deep water tank is bottom left so should be okay for purpose. As the saying goes you do get what you pay for 😉
A visit to you`re local independant dealer required who will be able to offer best service.

    Re: V. Slim washer/dryer machine?

Just one more option would be to install a Bosch slimline top loader, granted you would have to “lose” a bit of worktop but the Bosch does have a hinged worktop type outer lid.The controls are on the front like an ordinary front loader.
Details are Bosch WOP2400 Hieght 85cm X Width 45cm X depth 60cm. 4.5kg load 1200 spin typical water consumption 43 litres but is still only a washing machine with no dryer.

    Hope this helps

    Hi
Washer dryers are all generally the 60cm square box and 85cm high, Hotpoint make their depth slightly less at 58cm.
The smallest washing machine I can find is the Zanussi ZWC1300W compact wash load of 3KG, which measures Height 61cm X Width 49.5cm X Depth 51.5cm.

There isn`t anything else that I am aware of in that size range I`m afraid.
Any chance of gaining the extra space required? The minimum depth in washer dryers I can find is 580mm by Hotpoint.

I don`t know of a washer dryer but there is the Bosch WFC246C which is only 400mm deep. 1200 spin and a 9kg load and with a two year guarantee. You`re local independant should be able to help.

So if I understand this correctly then DRL are acting as brokers then for these companies. I wonder if they carry the stock or are they moving it on paper only 😉 .

If you have no joy with the manufacturer of appliance, let me know the height, width and depth of machine with the split of fridge to freezer and I will have a look at other suppliers.

    Re: New Kitchen

    Hi Chris
Do you really need to have the built in look as it does push the price up considerably? If the answer is yes then look at the Zanussi ZJD1219 washer dryer as another choice.
On the dishwasher front the only real difference I can see is the SHVMO3GB has a 5cm taller cavity which is okay if you have extra large dishes wheras the SGV57To3 has more programme selections, swings and roundabouts here and there is not a lot of difference in the price either.
Zanussi Zi918/12K would be my choice as it has the larger freezer capacity.

    Good luck

    Hi Chris

I would say you have made good choices. The oven and hob should last you well, the fridge freezer also and it comes with a two year guarantee.
The dishwasher comes with a free five year guarantee but I am informed that this offer expires on the 31st of this month . Washer dryer in the mid range is okay but you might want to take a look at the Bosch WVT2850GB probably a better built machine which in turn should give a longer lifespan. Also has a two year guarantee.
