Oh yes you are, it won’t change just because you keep saying it.

    Re: Grundig Kitchen Appliances

Beko = bad reputation in the UK, poor quality, (even though its the fastest growing brand in the UK)
So they rebadge as Grundig and sell the same crap at higher price, i wont be selling it, and i guess the Serviceforce operation will be getting the service work.

Knowing the owners of Ilve, I wonder how they will feel about Britannia being owned by another manufacturer with links to the lower end of the market. Ilve strive to present their products as “high end” and have markets worldwide; they may see this sale as potentially damaging. I suppose it depends on the wording in contracts but I do know they can take things very personally and have great pride in their products.

I am not so sure they have the quality right on the new models, since moving to the new factory and the release of the new models they are not as good as the old models, the “L” line replacement the “Q” line is no where near as sturdy or well made, i would go as far to say its only just on par with a rangemaster, not impressed.
I am starting to question my decision to start selling the brand again, and i did have a L line standing next to the new Q line, big difference.

And whilst we are on range cookers i sold off all the Stoves, Belling and New world appliances i had on display as they caused to many complaints from customers and the build quality was just awful. Wont be displaying them again!

Not all of their cookers are, plenty of them are made elsewhere.

Really? maybe a few years ago but not now, otherwise they are missleading the public with the Made in Britain campaign and the Made in Britain stuck all over the products.

Think you need to get up to speed.

As for Britannia, GDHA have been trying to buy them for quite a few years now, as Britannia was owned by venture capitolists company, it seems they sold to another company who didnt want them and GDHA gladly stepped in and snapped them up.
