    Re: Zanuusi ZJD1285

I had this a couple of years ago, customer complained of fluff on her clothes after a spin. She didn’t have the m/c repaired due to big bill for tub n’brng job year before, but i think we narrowed it down to the timer [main], if in doubt give Tony a call at EMW he could have had similar faults, unless anybody knows different!

    Re: hoover twin tub

Hi Graham, the only Tripod kit I ever used on twin tubs was for the Hotpoint models [is that what you mean?], & the last one I used was either from Qualtex or Uni-fit ,carn’t remember which one 😳 >
    hope it helps, Chris…

    Re: Customers love to share!

That sounds tasty Jim, but there are some places I go I won’t accept a cup of tea 😡 !You know the sort ,ya pull the washer out & theres old sarnies, knives n’ forks, biscuits & the occasional mouse that died of food poisoning 🙁 just lying there!
Having said all that many moons ago whilst doing a spell of aerial rigging, some old lass asked me & my mate if we wanted a cuppa [mid Jan] ”oh yes says I” only to be greeted not only with a hot cuppa ,but also cake, apple pie & cheese & biscuits, yum yum 😛 🙂 🙂 ! Now them is the sort of customers we want, but might put a strain on the waistline a bit!

WMA models are well known for dispencer drawers blocking up, just fit a new ‘un! Or a cheap way is to remove the dispencer & soak overnight in a bleech/water solution ,then rinse in hot water. You could also try a pressure washer on it ,but that is on the extreme side!!

    Re: Bosch SHV4313GB/17 leak!

Hi boro, I think what happened was the D/washer was that tight in place ,hence the car jack :rolls: ,he must have tipped it when extracting the thing! Them motors are expensive ,do you think I could try drying it out ,say leave it in a warm room , ie boiler room?
I’ve had pin holes before in the tubs but that was a few years ago, not seen one for a while but you never know, ho hum 🙁 .
    regards Chris..
