I had one awhile back, it did the same, if you played about with the buttons it would eventually clear its self and the door lock would burst into life for a few seconds and then it was ready to go. It was ok for a month or two then same happened again, did same again then was ok but after a month or so it did same again and would not reset. Sent the board to EMW and they repaired it ok.

    Re: Santander

I left Santander over 2 years ago now, someone tried to withdraw money over the phone so they put everything on hold, card, cheques, direct debits the lot and never bothered to tell me. Only found out when things arrived in post saying direct debits could not be taken etc. Phoned then 2 times, was told account was ok, 3rd time i called was told then. They were a total waste of time, they couldnt even get it right first time when they had said account was open again. It was ok when it was Abbey but when they were taken over just a mess

Re: Domestic and General cutting agents

Am also one that they have dropped but no one at D&G will give a good reason why. I was off work for a month or two with pnemonia then my mum had a stroke. They were told all this and as far as i new they were happy and just to tell them when i was back out.

Certain people claimed to have sent an email and left a message on phone for me to contact them. Well i never got email or message on phone so next thing letter in post saying they were terminating the contract.

Sent them emails which took days to reply to then all you got was the people were on holiday and would reply when they returned, which they never did. Kept on sending emails and finally got reply other day stating she was told to send out the letter as they were in process or restructuring the network.

It kind of looks like they just used me being of as an excuse to do what they did rather than just tell the truth, they dont seem to be bothered about all the good service they got and like what was said by Steven you got all kinds of stuff to do, helped them out at short notice if others had let them down and this is what you get in return.

I was an agent for 8 years, never got any complaints regarding my work and was told on several times that they were glad to stop passing work to another company as they got so many complaints about then, maybee its cause i didnt do gas or refrigeration work too.

Another problem i came across was communication problems between departments, you told them i dont do gas or refigeration work only for you to get customers on phone with ref numbers wanting things done. they would then call back D&G and the usual call you got was DONT YOU DO THAT KIND OF WORK. Was sick and fed up of getting hassle from customers saying they said you done this work.

Again like Steven said you got to know your regular customers and they always asked for you to come back, maybee its time for us X D&G agents to push the UKW policy to the customers we went to before.

I dont like the way they have carried on and rather than lie to people just tell the truth, if they ever come back to me i very much doubt i would do work for them again.

    PS

All i got was i will pass it onto Graham True when he gets back from holiday ( I WONDER IF THAT WILL BE A TRUE STATEMENT THEY MADE)
