I had a spare turn up today.
Should have turned him away at the door.
I rang to verify as it was a D&G policy and they told me not to fit it.
But I need this part on a chargeable so I use it else where.

mfi now servis/gbdar for me its not now viable.
Ill start making a list of spares ready to sell on and close down.
I would imagine there will be more like me as i just cant take anymore hits and with them 2 gone thats about 70{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of my work.

G.B.DAR LTDJust spoke to a couple of kitchen fitters I know that have told me that they arnt being paid for fitting the kitchens before 30/09.
If thats the case everywhere then the writing is on the wall as like us repairers they use the same fitters all the time.
2 jobs they were on they have stopped the work half way through leaving no sink just an empty tiled room behind them.The customer is threatening to sue them there not bovered as she paid mfi for the fitting costs.Theres got to be more out there.
I bet watchdog are getting loads of complaints.
I did ring up customer vare giving a postcode so they still seem to be booking calls in my area but im not getting them?
I yesterday wrote to every customer who MFI will not be paid.
Even though I wont get know money just inmagine the MFI cutomer care phone lines with customers moaning that they have a raised invoice as MFI had entered administration.Let them explain to the customers.
If we all tried this just think what would happen.
OK its only ink,paper,encvelope and a stamp but in my eyes its worth ago.I also rang D&G and they had been told the same as us that we were being paid historical invoices last friday.
Also did anybody know that MFI Financial Services also entered administration last friday 17/10/08 so it may be the case that the administraters wont pay anything after 1/10/08.
I wish they had just closed down and melted into the past as another retailer gone out of business but to start up again as MFI group ltd just twists a knife into peoples backs.
We have been threatened not to tell the press in our memos as this would jepadise our contract to be honest would you work for them again.
Where do they stand as their u/g units are made by antonio Merloni.
I would love to know if anybody out there are still repairing for them at this precise moment or who the other alledged contracter is who was on standby last friday.They would be either foolish or a big risk taker.
They had this problem a few years ago and solved it with a stronger magnet in the door seal.
This may be the answer if this crops up alot.
I am ex Expert at east to my knowledge they paid everyone but shafted us engineers with a bad redundancy deal.

Well with MFI and now servis I might as well go and shut up shop as I cant see gbdar paying out.
In 2 days losing £8k thats my profit Ive made this year gone.

It would explain something that servis work seemed to have stopped coming from GBDAR and had started to come from JTM.
We will wait and see what happens i am now going for a very stiff drink.
