    HI TC – what do you mean by another prog runs? – if selector moves to a prog other than the one set , then it just needs the previous prog to be cancelled first before setting a new prog.

    Its not that Martin – I always remove motor from machine to do brushes – checked plug & continuity thru brushes. Any other ideas?

    Pat testing is no different from the normal testing that should be done after any electrical repair i.e earth leakage and insulation resistance tests.
