you can also ask customers not to smoke when your in their home,
this will obliviously depend on how big they are,
on a serious note our local council workmen wont enter a property if someone has been smoking..

this may sound strange, but you will now find yourself looking at loads of people congregating out side pub doors as you drive buy,
until you remember that they’re just having a fag.
up north its like little communities that you have never really noticed before.
quite funny really. especially when their standing in the rain, what people will do for a fag..

the other thing that ive noticed is, you can go and have a nice smoke free drink/meal now, but you inhale about 2 years worth of smoke squeezing by all the people outside the doors having a fag.

    the best point was,

    free estimates, or are they,
this guy was there to make money regardless,
    hence the pump scam,
maybe the joe public will now understand this is what they are likely to en-counter with the free est brigade,??

    Re: Service Power?

    hi k,

we tend to work s/p work around other calls that we have in same area,
i agree on costs , we shouldnt have to soak up other peoples mistakes,
but theres a lot of times we do achieve 1st time fix, due to pre -diagnosis,

as you know you only get paid when complete,
we also do other work where we have to go to job diag fault order spares and then go back, 2 visits 1 x complete,

    so when pre-diag is correct 1 vis , 1 complete ,

a would est on all s/p work we get about 70{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} 1st time complete which for us is viable, the other 30{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} we have to soak up whilst doing other calls.

bearing in mind we work from home office, no rent /rates etc, no stock to pay for, litttle or no advertising..

im not saying this is an ideal business model, but for us its a reasonable situation.

ps i dont find any problems with there web based systems, very simple and easy to use..
