hi k,
this has only happened a few times, and we have claimed a 1st visit fee ,
this gets you £20.00 , not much but better than nothing, you can also claim a 1st visit fee when the said manu has wrongly pre-diagnosed the fault and sent incorrect spares, this is on top of the agreed rate when you complete job,on the other side of the coin, the insurance inspection work pays well, no tools involved, go and inspect damage, get model /serial, dimensions, most cases you are in and out 10-15 mins,

i know what manu your talking about, can be a bit frustrating doing work from them, and i agree that s/power should argue the case with that manu,
weve had a few lately where they have sent then own engineer after we have called took the flak and diagnosed faults, ordered parts etc,ally

something like a start cap,?
im beginning to think pcb faulty,dont realy want to buy one and find out its not
any idea where to check if getting 240 to pcb?.

you could be right,
i called customer and asked them to put it on again just to double check for fault code, cust called back 2 hours later,
when door opened display just shows p4. prog it was set on, and water was cold.dont know what t/stat is in appliance, any one got an idea???

hi eastlmark, theres no error code coming up,
appliance seems to stick while on wash, ive asked customer if water is hot when they open door, they have said yes luke warm ?.. but they also say steam does come out when door 1st opened, steam from luke warm water ??.
this model has a display pcb..

cheers guys,
1st i have taken fill hose of at both end , ie undersink and at water tank,
,when tested @ supply to lock out valve i was only getting a live to it,2nd…leak was caused by loose salt container nut/washer..
but after i repaired it i also noticed a drip coming from door seal,3rd , gegsy the module looks in perfect cond, i have looked over everything twice in this d/w..
i have checked it up to the on/of switch.240 up to and through switch, but dont know where its goes from there. pump will run if you lift up anti flood device.. it seems like it isnt sending 240 to board or if it is the board isnt responding…
