    HI CHRIS

sorry for late reply, how do you enter diag,
the appliance does fill 1st time you put it on, and seems to run as normal,
tried it on a 38 min prog, whilst checking m/wave. it appeared to be running normal, but when i opened door with about 15 mins to go there was a lot of heat and no water,
    any ideas
    ally

    ps m/wave prob sorted,

    welcome to the dragons den
is this £40k pa, before or after tax, or could it be your mate has said i made 40k, “but what he meant was…. he turned-over 40k..

cos if its turnover there is a big big difference to actually making 40k..

based on indesits completion fee you would need to be doing about 50 completes per week/ 52 weeks of the year to turn over 40k…
then you would have to subtract his overheads..

    is he doing private work..??

    C.E FAULT = PCB , MOTOR WINDINGS ?,
if the windings were faulty would it still ..wash/spin..

im not an expert, but i would say its illegal, soap chemicals being washed into soil.. why don’t you squirt some sealant up his drain hose..
not that im suggesting you fall out or anything…

i think its just a case of holding start buttons in for 5 secs,

    Re: LG WASHINGMACHINE WM1480FHD

    sorry for late reply guys..
to recap problem…appliance is pretty smooth on wash, but on spin it starts up smooth-then makes the rough noise leading up to full spin,
if you switch appliance of at wall whilst spinning it is almost silent…

appliance is about 25 miles away and we are doing it as a favour for a commercial client..
engineer that was at appliance didnt have a good look at module but did suspect a module/motor speed issue,

cheers… and thanks for mail bob…
