    Re: Electrolux Porcia

yeh and this poor girl will now need to give up her fags

On a recent Friday afternoon, Licci, the Electrolux factory worker, joined a union-led protest outside the factory. A petite blonde with thick eye makeup and a cigarette in hand, Licci said employment at the factory had helped her get a mortgage and buy a house.

Up until 2008, Licci took home 1,400 euros a month. But Electrolux gradually reduced her hours so her wage has fallen to 1,000 euros. On top of her 600-euro mortgage she pays 310 euros a month for school lunches, electricity and gas, and fuel for her commute to work. “We made sacrifices thinking we had a safe future ahead, but now everything seems to be at risk,” said Licci.

would it be worth putting up a small guide on consumer rights etc –

ie in a format that an engineer etc would be able to refer to – kinda like a quick guide ?

    it could be headed

” DONT GET CONNED – GET KENNED “

    also you can fit these
DA8101997A cover support – basically little lugs that fit onto top of panel where ice builds up .

there’s a leaflet with it that shows you how to alter the defrost time etc .theory behind it is heater comes on longer thus stopping ice build up – cough cough

the do help marginally and best fitted with a new cover ,

dont be surprised to see it come back in 18-24 months time
