think you will like it don .. Edinburgh is truly a international city and is full of people from all over the world at this time of the year .. remember to take your wallet ..plenty to do around the city center – ghost walks under the the original city .. ocean terminal for shopping and a visit to royal yacht Britannia.

south queensferry and 20 minute drive to see forth rail bridge etc nice wee place for lunch ..and you can get on a boat and go to inchcombe island –

and if you into yer divinci code – funny handshakes and all that .. offcourse the mecca for the holy grail quest

you can go to rosslyn chapel about 30 minutes from city center ..

    have fun …

ps if all this sounds to energetic you could just sample the local beverages i can recommend the royal mile tavern great wee boozer and friendly prices ok ..thens theres the world end – famous for the worlds ends murders … but its ok now ..lol

the front toc is bad for going o/c on this model – check by bypassing ..

we normaly fit the whole control panel – but have had a few where they didnt work – this was down to faulty panel , we carry 2 off in the van to solve this . not ideal but it works ..

any updates yet , ive been looking at diary systems / call routing their all expensive or dont fit with what we do ..

theres one out their thats good with drag/drop diary for multi engineers and it will auto route etc but will cost 5k to set up

Re: the end of organic results ?

i think the word thats being thrown around is scroogled

basically google is forcing any business to pay them to have any chance of visibility on the famed page 1

more and more customers i speak to dont even look at page 1 now as they are fed up with national company’s when they are simply looking for a local company ..

    re bosch dishwasher heater change

ive done a few where tank off to access part a real pain in the arsjjj… some of the new ones lets you access via base i prefer lying appliance on its side havent had any probs ..

i change a lot of washing machine pumps lying appliance on its side so much easier even with a wee drop water in them ,

i suppose the engineer is best person to assess the best way to approach job ..

    Re: websites

i would do a Google places entry if you haven’t already – just as good as a web site in many respects,

a good web site is vital – but you then have to get it on page to stand any chance of customer finding it .

thats the hard part , how much do you want to spend to get your site noticed , if you have the time you can tinker about with seo etc .

if your really concentrating on local customers then a good Google places listing may be all you need ..

im afraid online is the same as newspaper adds etc – unless you ask customers where they got your add it very hard to quantify.
