    hi ddrill have tried to source 1st thats why im asking ,i know the part number is on the back of module but the label is corroded and unreadable.

    apoligies if i havent advised of trying 1st – but i thought the purpose of the trade spares forum was to receive info on things like part numbers etc – maybe just me ?

    and to prove my point hyg-dip has came back with the info ..

    you think our responsibility would stop at the plug .. but it is good practice to earth loop if you have the tester to do so ..and advise customer of any issues

    they dont seem to have systems engineers either ..

    not the best start for them bur i suppose they will tramp on as to try and save face …

    repcare were doing them – but like k said i thought they were pulling back from appliances

    nearly every job we got was a range cooker with multiple faults, customers just storing up all the faults and ordering a recon service …

    i havent seen a broken washing machine door , ive been doing repairs for 25 years now .. but theres no smoke with fire ..

    i think unless you happen to be at the appliance when it breaks its very hard to say whats causing this..

    or maybe we need to data base of what appliances is breaking the most ..
