    insurance co,s are like vets

they never want to out an animal down

new appliance = lost customer = no revenue from said customer

on the other hand you would think it was more economical to replace rather them spend on expensive parts time and again

its a numbers game – as they say

    THEY ARE GREAT PAYERS —

anything closed end of month paid 23rd of new month or earlier if 23rd a weekend bank hol etc

never had a late payment in years — this is something they are very good with

take a little bit to get used the system , but its very good you can track everything and invoices are created auto when you close job , so no sending manual inv etc

one of the best systems around to work with

    imo

Re: BRITGAS /SCOT GAS SACKING ESD LINE MANAGERS

heard some of the ESD managers been offered positions on the gas side

as most of the gas engineers are retiring or leaving or dont want the jobs worth position.
looks like the gas side not to healthy either

giving a gas side managers job to any of the so called ESD managers will go down like a lead balloon

how to achieve within centrica – brit/scot gas

    must have these attributes

    backstab
    be two faced
    lick bums
an ego that deserves it own postcode

funny and sad — but true

Re: Whirlpool to do a recall on Hotpoint dryers

you got to wonder how these cowboys sleep at night

ive had a few when ive been in sorting other appliances where customers have said – the engineer turned up and said it had already been done in the factory and he just need to pop the rivet in – these were on 5 year + dryers .

national company if you KNOW what i mean ?

yeh its a bosch – paid a lot of money for it paid cash as well

you pull up and its a shthole — you think mmm shthole but they know there appliances

lots of broken kids toys in front garden – fags been put out on the door posts 50 fag buts all over the door mat

your now getting worried – but the saving grace its a bosch not spinning — happy days

as you get into the front hall that familiar smell of mingers hits you
not sure what how to describe the smell but its the same wherever you go – stale mouldy nappies bucket full of food smell

you fight your way past all the crap they bring inside for safe keepings – get into kitchen eventually focus on the washing machine as their no lights .. there its is bush — you turn to customer and say i thought you said it was a –ah never mind

keeping your best professional face on – you make a hasty retreat to the comfort of you van whilst telling the customer im going to check a price for that –eh eh motor and pcb

get in the van lock the doors – drive around the corner incase they come out to ask you something you have all types of anti bacteria wipes and gel — every thing gets a wipe down – phone car keys pen – job sheets gets thrown on the floor

phew your safe — sht where my bluetooth headset

phew there it is down by the handbrake – must of fell of amidst all the confusion

im done for the day — lol

the hardest part is to pretend you care between the yawns

oh you have medicine in the fridge — put it on the window sill its winter like daa

oven not working — make a stir fry or call the chippy

hubbys a chef he needs his whites — buy some more whites

thankfully the voices in my head usually stay there — but do creep out now and again when faced with people who cant fathom out there little emergency is 1 of 10 i may have that day

    Re: rapport ?

    hi ken
i can get an idea of the complex software running behind the scenes all to make it easy for the end user

i havent seen what the customer would see when doing web form etc – but it may be worth not making them fill out the model etc if they dont have it to hand ie field is not required before form will send ? – you may loose out if customer doesnt have details

account package would be great ,

the info flow back to work providers again would be great to cut down the phone traffic – hopefully there will be a note section that only the repair center can see

route planning manual – auto or google is a fantastic idea
just to be able to drag jobs into dairy then call up the day you want narrow down to engineer and ask google to to give you the best route is brilliant.- you can actually see all the calls move in the diary – and if you dont like the way google has done it – you can manually adjust .

this function is worth is weight in gold alone

this is a major step forward for smaller repair companies as its been built for the industry from the ground up – then complex software/ algorithms have been added so we can deal with the big boys .

so whether your a man and a brush or have 1 to 100 employees 1 would recommend you at least have a look at Rapport.
