    been there don

or they book a repair we narrow it down to 3 hour slot

when you get there – no one in

they normally find were really really busy when they want to reschedule

its funny as you never get no access when you going to fit a part

the thing that gets me is – if you were not to show up they would be going mental

guy walks into pub – orders a pint and a whiskey

drinks the pint and pours the whiskey into his top pocket

orders the same again and pours whiskey into pocket

does this 4-5 times in a row

asks for another and the landlord says no thats enough your drunk

the guys shouts right outside now
just then wee mouse pokes his head out the pocket and says
yeh and bring your cat wi you.

    sorry for late reply ken

ive not heard much more but i would say appliances maybe on the hit list

as they cant force customers to buy or upgrade to meet safety standards etc

no money to be fleeced out the customer

imo — slush fund ran out , managers found out , creatures of habit will go back to what it knows

LOL — yes electrical service division

the dept that poached a lot of good engineers from lots of small repair co,s up and down the country and for good measure dropped the contractors from a great height

little birdy says – the team leaders are keeping their jobs for the time being – but with all the cost cutting and office closures it seems the writing is on the wall .

9 times out fo 10 its pcb

best to take part number of old pcb

would also get samung to put a new motor in in case its faulty motor

you dont want to stick a new pcb in for dodgy motor to take it out

yeh im kinda hoping customers will do their homework and stay well clear of them

but i doubt it the masses will lap this crap up all day

especialy when its shoved right in there faces when they walk in the door

the scary part is the lower end of the scale units

johny no carpets will be wanting to check his booze supplies from his wifi ff

Jeremy kyle brigade will be checking the status of the wash load via there asda ON android tv so the can get their social work team to take the load out and put in the dryer .

im not sure the hacker will get much” street cred ” when all his mates find out he’s been hacking washing machines .

but i agree with ken – the manufacturers are only playing lip service when it comes to security – ie we use the industry standard so that’s ok

like ken says it will be the poor agent who will be running around doing multiple recalls on issue they are not trained for apart from the half day course or if your really lucky

take 3days off unpaid loss of work etc and go do a 3 day course yehh

just look at what uber is doing to the taxi industry

    same with www vs shops

technology evolution , give it a few years we will all be robots and wont need anything apart from a squirt of oil lol

most customers with common sense put a 30 inch flat screen on top

have it connected or use netflix – google chrome cast etc

or alternatively — just sit and eat there freekn tea without being connected to the madness lol
