    Hi
I wouldn’t be forcing the tap shafts in any way as they may snap and allow a gas escape ❗
The fault is quite common as the heat drys out the grease within the tap workings.
A qualified gas engineer (Corgi, see link below) would either re-grease or replace the tap/s 😀
Please do not for your own safety attempt any work on the appliance.

Re: BOSCH Exxcel SGS43A12GB/42 Electrical problem

It could well be a poor connection on one of the edge connectors of the module in the fascia or maybe a dry joint on the module.
Power off if you are to investigate :plug:

But did you also clear out the ribbed clear tube that goes from that chamber to the sump and are the filters clear?

This has gone so far :offtopic:
All the OP asked was if a Miele W1512 washing machine would be a good buy and last with 3 kids 8)

Answer – yes and the rest 😀

The machine doesn’t make or have any glass in its assembly so thats a load of tosh; tell whoever it was that said that 😉 and the engineer Im sure doesn’t have odd bits of glass to chuck in Im sure.
If in doubt stay and watch what he pulls out. I always ask customers to watch, eliminating any doubt that It didn’t come from their machine 😀
The debris can be and I quote from my findings over the years –
    in no particular order – glass,cocktail sticks,seeds,plastics,china,matchsticks (don’t ask)

    Re: Low water pressure

Yup between 1 bar and 10 (where 1bar is equivalent to 8 litres a minute flow rate with the tap fully open).
